The Black Parade Might Be Dead…
…but the look lives on!
Well, in a way. Topshop has a new line called “Bandstand” that’s vaguely military inspired. While it’s not the official Black Parade line, many of the pieces are in the same vein (no pun intended. Okay, maybe a LITTLE intended).
The line plays up a lot of looks that are currently very trendy and versitile, including the omnipresent vest and the oversized bag. There’s also some pieces that would probably make self professed “jacket slut” Gerard Way drool and paw at his computer screen. Yes, they’re women’s jackets, but really, do you think that would stop Gerard for an instant?
