“Raise the Dead” isn’t as epic as their most famous track, “California,” which was the theme song for “The O.C.” but it’s still damn good — it’s a very ending-credits, drive-off-into-the-sunset with full knowledge there will be a sequel song. And the possibility that it was themed after singer Alex Greenwald‘s experience with a cult? Extra points for intrigue right there.
