A couple days before Bamboozle Left, I found out I had the opportunity to interview MxPx. I’m not gonna lie, I had a mild panic attack. I mean, MxPx wrote THEE scene-inauguration song (“Punk Rawk Show,” duh). They’ve been a part of my life for so long, how could I talk to them without spontaneously busting into an off-tune version of “Wind Beneath My Wings”?
The answer, my friends, is that I’m a professional. Actually, no — the answer is I interviewed Tom Wisniewski, and notMike Herrera. DON’T BE MISTAKEN — I am no less impressed with Tom, it’s just that Mike makes my knees go all jello and stuff. Therefore, I conclude that it was the absence of Mike Herrera that allowed me to keep my cool.You sure do wanna read the Q&A.
