What I Need in the Morning

Painted on the sidewalk of 25th Street in the Strip District.

Two minutes after seeing this and taking the picture, I ran into a guy who called me an “ugly, fat bitch” last week because I told him to shut up when he tried to talk to me while I was on my cellphone with my mother. He proceeded to tell his friend that I yelled at him after he “Tried to help me cross the street.”

I don’t think saying “Come on, darling, take a chance,” is really classified as helping.

But none of that matters.

I’m beautiful. The sidewalk said so.
