Paramore has new album, world tour on deck
The group will swing through Japan and Australia beginning March 31, then kicks off its North American outing April 20 in Ft. Domestic shows are listed below while overseas gigs can be found at Paramore’s website.
When the spring jaunt concludes, Paramore will cross the pond for a European tour, and be back Stateside by late June to start its mainstage slot on the Vans Warped Tour, according to a press release.
The Tennessee-based quintet, fronted by 17-year-old Hayley Williams, is planning to drop its as-yet-untitled sophomore effort June 12.
The band’s 2005 debut, “All We Know is Falling,” earned critical acclaim and landed Paramore on many “bands to watch” lists. Songs from the album are streaming at Paramore’s website and MySpace page.
The group has kept the buzz going with its nearly non-stop tour schedule, playing major festivals and supporting acts including Story of the Year and Simple Plan.
