No Doubt recording early next year!
So we heard awhile ago that No Doubt was putting out another album (no, they’re not “reuniting” cause they never broke up) but Adrian has posted the following in the No Doubt Community:
“Hello everybody. I would like to let you know that I am playing drums with my brother’s band Mo Bigsley at the Slide Bar in Fullerton on Wed. March 7 at 9 pm. there is no cover charge. Also, I am playing with Dilana at Long Beach arena tomorrow at 8pm. I hope everyone is good.
Ok here it goes. Things are good with the band. We are working on new material and will continue to so for the rest of the year, and then start recording at the beginning of next year.
[Gwen] said that The Sweet Escape had more melodies which is more like No Doubt. no, i don’t anticipate that the new No Doubt stuff will sound like The Sweet Escape.”
I’m really stoked, don’t get me wrong. But they’re not going to even BEGIN recording until early next year? I’VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG! But, I guess I can wait longer.
