ANTM: Making Violence Glam?
Faded Youth divulges that ANTM Photoshoot #4 has pissed off The National Organization for Women. Photoshoot #4 had all the models “playing dead” because they were supposedly “murdered by a fellow model.”
NOW says “Violence against women is such a reality in our society that I certainly don’t need the entertainment industry making entertainment out of it.“
The idea that it glamourized violence against women didn’t even occur to me, honestly. I mean, it’s not like I’m gonna go out and slaughter some pretty chick and take a picture– but I don’t necessarily think the organization is overreacting, either.
What are your thoughts? Artistic? Offensive? Both?
