In March Alt Press: Taste of Chaos, Bayside

In the March issue of Alt Press, Bayside talk about their new album The Walking Wounded, and the grim topic of John Holohan’s death.

After the tragic accident, the band chose to stay on the road, which some considered “opportunistic.” They also chose not to talk about it. Raneri said: “What a lot of people don’t know is that the New York Times called us. MTV called us. Rolling Stone called– people that would never have anything to do with our band– and we wouldn’t talk to them… we were genuinely worried that we were either going to be seen as a pity case or that we were cashing in.

The issue also has a spread on The Taste of Chaos Tour (dubbed “Winter Warped). Bert McCracken is now blonde. Interesting.
