Back in late October, I did an article here that talked about Healthcare Reform in the US and how it affects both Buzznet users and the bands they are fans of. In the article, I mentioned an online forum I participated in which featured several speakers, including Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.

The video recap of the panel is finally available online, and I suggest you watch it. It's extremely informative and addresses a lot of issues I couldn't fit into my write-up last month. This is extremely important as Congress is voting on the Reform Bill at this very second.

Watch below or on the official Rock the Vote site.

If I had my PhD in music, then I would say that you need a prescription for some Tahiti 80 music. Your ears look a little weak and your heart needs a little more electronic-soul. I am going to start you off on something catchy and beautiful, Tahiti 80's most popular track 'Heartbeat'.

Then you should start your intake of music off of Tahiti 80's albums Wallpaper for the Soul, Fosbury and Puzzle.

Are you obsessed yet with Xavier Boyer's voice yet? Here is a free download Tahiti 80 has provided for a song called 'Good Boy'.

You should be ready for their fourth album, Activity Center, which comes out in the US on November 24th.

The ever-so classic sounding Tahiti 80 graced us with their pop and presence at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA last night. I was smitten over Xavier's vocals. The show was tasteful, elegant and captivating. I had the chills and it felt really good. Did I mention already that they are French and this was really rare and awesome to see them live!

Tahiti 80 has been making powerful pop music with disco beats and dancy synths, since 1996. Are you shocked? Are you curious? You should be.

If you can handle taking a break from the also amazing French pop band Phoenix, then I strongly suggest giving your ears a taste of Tahiti 80. They have a similar appeal in sound. My head hurts from wondering so hard why Tahiti 80 never really has been a break out band in the US. Can we please all start the revolution together and devote ourselves to Tahiti 80's breakout!?!

Oh and that prescription I gave you, does not expire. In fact, there is not really a way to overdose!

Some photos are worth a thousand words. Some are not. Each week I analyze a few lucky photos and judge for myself, "What are these photos really worth??" My answer is always right. Let's stop wasting time and get right to it.

A Letter From N-Ports

Dear Hunter,
As a big fan of your music, your writing, your professional modeling, your—well, YOU!, I have to tell you what an honor it would be to have you analyze a picture of me. I have enclosed a cover I did for V Magazine. It was a fun photo shoot, but it was really long! If you could find the time between stops on your worldwide AFI tour to visit me during a future shoot, I would love to chat with you about things like veganism, espresso, Stevie Wonder, or even the Riemann hypothesis. I will have my people contact Buzznet to set something up with you. I look forward to hopefully meeting you.
Love,
Natalie
P.S. Please go easy on my photo analysis—I'd hate to be made fun of (even in a playful tongue-in-cheek way) by someone I admire so much!

Natalie,
You are truly mesmerizing in this photo. Was it uncomfortable to have a giant "V" around your neck during such a long photo shoot?
-H
P.S. The Riemann hypothesis!? I didn't know you were into number theory!

L-Gagz?!

What is it about Ms. Gaga that looks strange in this picture? Her outfit is typical. She's wearing her normal Ambervision/Blueblockers. Fishnets? Normal. Translucent beaded necklace as a dress? Typical. Hair straight out of Village of the Damned? Standard. Matching tail? Obvz. Wait! I know what it is! Her ears look a little pointy in this picture. The paparazzi must have caught her on a bad ear day. Whew! For a minute there I thought she had morphed into something much much cuter. Everyone can rest assured, nothing is out of the ordinary here. The Gaga is ok. Answer me this though: Why do I want to brush her mane and tail so badly?

Jo-Jo and D-Lov?!

I remember a time when Disney used to exploit animals for profit. These animals were forced to film countless movies and tv shows as well as make special appearances daily at Disneyland. Somehow this was ok because these animals were not real animals. They were cartoons. However, the times have changed. Disney still exploits animals in the same animated fashion, but now Disney also churns out pop stars by the hand full—and oh what a hand full these two are! Joe and Demi have performed together many times, but now I hear rumors that they might also be dating?? To me, that's like hearing that Minnie Mouse and Goofy are dating—it's just not right! ...or maybe it's SO RIGHT. They do make a cute couple, don't they?

Check back each week for more analytical ephemera. If you have suggestions of photos you would like me to analyze, email them to yourself and Bcc me. If you didn't read the last Analyze This, you missed a classic. It was a Halloween "spooktacular". If you missed any of the prior weeks, you can travel back in time by looking in my journal section. Why not take a few minutes to read every single one? Lastly, commentary is accepted and expected.

At the OP Presents Tour tonight in Fort Lauderdale, Florida John O of The Maine was arrested. There are a few diffrent stories about what happened, but the one thing that seams to stay the same is that while John was signing autographs and taking pictures he was asked to leave by the police and when he didn't things turned bad.

Earlier in the night Seirra from VersaEmerge tweeted:

Apprently John didn't hear that. One eye witness story told by a fan recalled this:

"I was standing right next to him. There was a ridiculous amount of girls everywhere. They were going insane, John was trying to organize everyone into place so they could all get there pictures, or stuff signed. He took a bunch of peoples cameras so he could take the pictures, and a cop came over and started yelling at him to leave because they were blocking the stupid sidewalk and street,or whatever. John asked the cop to hold on so he could give all the cameras back. The cop got pissed, and started yelling at him,and he was respectfully saying to him just to wait a couple minutes to give shit back, and he pushed John onto me. I caught him in my own fucking arms after a cop SHOVED him. Then,I helped him up and the cop grabbed him (Meanwhile, with all of these girls cameras in his hands) and threw him across the street and onto a tree face first in front of Pat pulling his arms behind his back while every camera flew. I was screaming at the cop, while others were as well. After I saw the cop pulling him away,i couldnt even look and i walked away. We started walking around, and my friends mom was there. So, i cursed out the cops. Not such a great idea, but i dont fucking care. No one is going to fuck with John when he did absolutely nothing.I got in the car,and the cop came and told me to get out.He lectured me about me “being young & not knowing right from wrong” and then I had an attitude and thought i was so “all that” FUCK THAT. I was defending one of the most important people in my life. Then,he said “I could arrest you right here and you can spend a happy jail cell with your band boyfriend that you want so bad”. WHAT THE HELL. Who gives him the fucking right to say that? NO ONE. Just because you have a badge on your chest doesnt make you better then anyone else."

There has been no word yet to if he has been release or not, but he will be happy to know he has friends on the outside.
