A quartet of polarizing big-screen features are bearing down upon movie-going couples and pals this weekend. 1408, Evan Almighty, A Mighty Heart and You Kill Me offer a full range of entertainment choices. And also much food for fraught. Click on titles to watch the trailers, then pick the flick you feel is worth fighting for.

	1408 Think of 1408 as The Shining lite. Both films are based on tales by Stephen King that follow the deterioration of a harried father staying in a haunted hotel. Of course, The Shining had Jack Nicholson and Stanley Kubrick. But 1408 has perpetual bad ass Samuel Jackson, and who knows what he might do next.
	Evan Almighty Steve Carrell knows what happens when you suddenly become a bigger box-office draw than Jim Carrey. You get to play God in the sequel to the movie where your vectors crossed. And that's why Steve joins Morgan Freeman as the Lord Himself in Evan Almighty
	A Mighty Heart Some real-life events are so emotionally devastating and universally absorbed at the time they happen that they defy being transformed into a commercial cinema venture. Such is the challenge of A Mighty Heart. But A Mighty Heart is more than the story of the widow of butchered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. In the bigger picture, the movie is a vehicle for Angelina Jolie's next shot at an Academy Award.
	You Kill Me Imagine being a boozed-up old hit man from Buffalo, New York, who is shipped off to San Franciso by the family after a botched kill and ordered to join Alcoholics Anonymous. Then you snag Tea Leoni as your girlfriend. You Kill Me has hit written all over it. Every AA member in America will buy a ticket just to see if they know anybody at the meetings.
