Lily Allen miscarriage

“We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage,” her rep said. “She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Lily, 22, and Chemical Brothers star Ed, 37, had just returned home after a vacation in the Maldives when she tragically miscarried.

A source close to the couple has said, “Lily and Ed are in a state of shock. The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are absolutely heartbroken. Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed. She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf. They are surrounded by friends and family who are offering support. It is a really difficult time for them.” (JustJared)

That really sucks, I'm sad for her.

Please don't make an @sshole comments about how she deserved this. While we may be able to acknowledge it wasn't th right time for her, there's no need to be a jerk.

Miscarrying is a horrible and tragic event, especially for women. I know people who have suffered from this and it impacts them in their life all the time. I hope that she will eventually be able to heal her heart and self. My thoughts are with her and Ed.
