Britney Spears has been on a downward spiral for quite sometime now but the alleged discovery of her suicide note shows us just how extreme the situation has become.

An insider told In Touch about a note discovered by Britney's manager on January 4 -- the same night she was rushed to the hospital after suffering a mental breakdown. I will warn you ahead of time that what is written in her letter may upset you.

The suicide note is filled with reasons why Britney shouldn't be alive. She apologizes for not living up to people's expectations and talks about how peaceful death seems in comparison to the lonely and unfair life she is currently deal with.

All I can say is wow. That is all we are told about the letter but let's hope that will be the last one she ever decides to write. Britney needs help and at this time we can only be thankful she has decided to stay positive and to keep going.

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: X17 is reporting that the story of Britney's suicide note in false. They apparently got this info for manager Sam Lufti himself. Regardless, Britney still needs our support.
