Freddy Krueger Fanatic In Jail![]() Let me start out by saying that I have been a huge fan of horror movies my entire life and this story should not be a representation of the entire genre. Jason Moore, 37, was jailed for life yesterday after attacking his sleeping friend with a home-made Freddy Krueger glove. For those unfamiliar, Krueger is the villian in the "A Nightmare On Elm Street" movie series in which he kills victims in their dreams. He wears a glove on one hand with knives as fingers. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Moore had created four replicas of the glove since he first saw the original film in the 1984 and on August 30th 2006, while his friend John Skamarski was sleeping at his house, he attacked his friend by slashing him on his face, neck and hands. Luckily, Skamarski survived as he was able to calm Moore down during the attack. Deputy Sergent Gary Rogers, of Leicester police, who investigated the attack, said, "This was probably the most horrific weapon I have ever seen. The victim could have been seriously injured and wil llive with trauma for the rest of his life." Moore claims he doesn't remember the incdeint and "came to" covered in blood. Do you think horror movies are to blame of psychological problems?

I agree.
I've been a fan of Nighmare on Elm Street as well as many other horror's for a long time and I don't feel the need to slash my friends w/ a replica of Freddy's glove.
The film can't be blamed for that.
The guy must have had Mental issues before hand.
But it's people like that who get the horror genre in a lot of shit.
People think that because one person out of a million decided to Slash someone after watching a horror, that the film is trying to brainwash the planet into being serial killers.
But most of the time the person who does it has a history of mental illness.
