Washed-Up Boy Bands Meet Their Reality

Have you ever wondered what happened to Bryan Abrams?  A member of one of the original boy bands Color Me Badd, whose song "I Wanna Sex You Up" was a big hit in 1991.  Me neither.

However, somebody must care as I Dont Like You In That Way reports that VH-1 is about to air a new reality titled Band Of Men which will feature Abrams, alongside Chris Kirkpatrick of N' Sync, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and Rich Cronin of LFO.

Not only will all four ex-boy band members be living in one house together for one month, (can each member even afford their own house at this point?) but they will create a new act called Sureshot. (insert joke here)

No one cares about these guys anymore so why are they even creating a reality show about them ...and the act that they will be putting together will bomb just like them .....

i really miss the old days although i would say we grew out of boy bands back in the day ever since blink 182 and green day happened.

They picked the least recognizable member of each band, I think. Although I dont think I know what anyone in LFO looked like. Only that they introduced me to Abercrombie & Fitch.

That is hilarious! These guys don't realize that the teenaged girls have now grown up and don't listen to that crap anymore---if they have grown up.

chris kirkpatrick and LFO? hahahaaa, amazing. dude i still listen to nsync from time to time, just to remember what it was like to be 12. it feels a lot longer ago than it really was...

I'm with you, leslie00. It feels good to put an *NSYNC CD in (No Strings Attached is the best!) and reminisce.
Chris was (is?) my friend's favorite, so maybe she'll care a bit, but I would rather they'd gotten *NSYNC back together than tried to create a new act from other ones. I'd love to see an *NSYNC reunion tour. Yes, I'm a dork, but I would definitely be in attendance at the Chicago show.

haha well i dont know about an nsync reunion tour, it would probably just be a big joke to everyone. i mean, i would have to laugh too because generally, boy bands have run their course -- at least with people my age. a new boy-band won't make it, unless there is a new generation of teenybopper 10-year-olds that will latch onto them. :]

These guys are actually very talented, especially Abrams. Why not give them a chance ?

Thought it would be funny to see this happen but after I saw the show I ended up liking Sureshot. They all still sing great. It was good to see the Color Me Bad guy singing again. I hope the best for them. Kick but Sureshot! Ignore the haters and spit fire.
