Coldplay Cozy Up to 'Death and All His Friends' on New LP The quartet's new album now has official song titles and a release date, but the album title is still super-weird. Coldplay have set a release date for their strangely titled new album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, and they've revealed the track list to boot. According to a recent press release, the 10-song follow up to 2005's X&Y will drop June 17 and feature colorfully titled songs like "Violet Hill," "Life in Technicolor" and "Strawberry Swing." What's wrong Chris? Apples aren't special anymore? Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends: 1. Life in Technicolor 2. Cemeteries of London 3. Lost! 4. 42 5. Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love 6. Yes 7. Viva La Vida 8. Violet Hill 9. Strawberry Swing 10. Death and All His Friends That's the track list, but can we please talk about Coldplay's new album title? Last month we reported on the title when it was called Viva La Vida. Now, the group has added "or Death and All His Friends." Confusing? Creepy? What do you think?
