Billy Crudup joins Mann's 'Public Enemies'

Following up on the news PanasonicYouth reported here last week showing photos of Johnny Depp on the set of "Public Enemies," the Michael Mann-directed drama for Universal, Variety reports this morning that Billy Crudup has been set to play FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.

Crudup joins an already exciting cast that includes Christian Bale, Marion Cotiillard and Channing Tatum.

IMDB states the story is about the Feds as they try to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930s.

An exact release date has not been announced, but as soon as it is, I'll let you know! Stay tuned.
