MGMT's personal style is a psychedelic blend of neon surfer, tribal vintage, military rebel, and glam rock lite-- an experimental love fest just like their sound.  Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini was so inspired by the band's music and style that she credited MGMT as her inspiration for the spring 2009 men's collection.  She also had "Time to Pretend" played for the collection's runway debut during Milan Fashion Week in 2008.

Sneaking suspicion that if Mick Jagger had been an American 80's baby, this probably would have been the result somewhere along the line.

So... if you could wrangle MGMT's music or a particular song into wardrobe, how would you style it?  Express yo' sound.

I really want to go to Coachella this year. I've never been and it sounds amazing! Although I don't know many of the bands playing, how can you resist a 3 day music festival in beautiful Indio, California and camping right next to the event. Camping, Friends, Food, Partying, & Music. Sounds like an amazing time to me. Now let me find about $300 for the tickets, friends willing to come with me and, let me plan to take that weekend off and I'm good! Hopefully I'll get to go because it sounds like an event not to be missed!

Each year we all sit and guess who will it be?  During the 12 month waiting period from one Coachella to the next, the message boards on Coachella's official website get filled with fake set-lists and potential candidates for the headlining acts. At 7:42am this morning Coachella announced their lineup. We are so excited about the lineup that we are still looking it over and over, to make sure no band goes overlooked.

HEY HEY HEY!!!!!!

Not Sure if any of you have heard of em, but theres this super good band that recently signed to ANTI called Dr Dog. They are currently recording their new album...and also touring here and there. They are coming in the office today for lunch, and this makes me stoked!! I saw them at Coachella last spring, and they were AMAZING- Ill be seeing them again tonight @ The Fonda, Hollywood CA
