Charlotte is such an incredibly gifted singer. I saw her first show in Jacksonville, Florida last April at Jack Rabbits. I was blown away. She has a sound all of her own and that's what separates Charlotte from other female lead singers. Charlottes band is totally great. I loved every minute of their performance. I must add that after her set she was so approachable and greatful. I think she and her band are just terrific and I cannot wait to see her again at Warped in Jacksonville. I also must add I am not a relative, employee of her record company, Have only met her once. I was just totally impressed and had to post this when I saw DJ's article. I totally agree with you Kimberly. Charlotte was incredibly kind and very funny. I had only spoken to her once over the phone but we clicked right away. (Sometimes interviews can feel a bit forced) I hope you laughed while watching the interview as much as I did conducting it. Let me know who else you would like to see me interview and I will try to make it happy for you :)

Warped Tour '08: Charlotte Sometimes' First Impression - 'It Is a Boys' World'Charlotte Sometimes has one crazy summer ahead of her: As she admitted to Buzznet before the Warped Tour kicked off, not only had she never played on the trek before, she hadn't even been to a single Warped show. We reconvened with the singer/songwriter at the June 20 launch to get her first impressions.

Charlotte Sometimes: It is a boys' world. DJ Rossstar: Have you made any ladyfriends yet since you've been here? Sometimes: No, not yet. My merch girl. DJ Rossstar: Is this the first time you've met your merch girl, or did you already knew her? Sometimes: I met her a few weeks ago. DJ Rossstar: Who do you like on the Warped Tour? We got Katy Perry ... she's a girl. Sometimes: Katy Perry. I just met her today, but we didn't get to talk in full, so we're not friends yet. DJ Rossstar: You haven't made [a] collaboration together yet? Sometimes: We haven't yet, but hopefully. DJ Rossstar: You can hang with the boys? Sometimes: I can hang with the guys. I have three older brothers. I'm used to the boys ... so I don't mind. But the girls are cool too. I know a lot of the girls that are working the booths and stuff, but I don't know the girls who are playing. DJ Rossstar: So this whole tour, are you just gonna play songs from the new album [her May debut, Waves and the Both of Us], or are you gonna go back to the old days [before you were signed]? Sometimes: I'm gonna play from this album. I think the other stuff is too acoustic/folky for the Warped Tour crowd. DJ Rossstar: Maybe for Lilith Fair. Sometimes: We're gonna start a new Lilith Fair, dammit. DJ Rossstar: When did that stop? Didn't it end in 2000? Sometimes: Yeah. [Ed note: The tour actually ended in 1999.] I think they tried to make a new one this year, and I was gonna be a part of it, called Girl Frenzy, and it totally got trashed. DJ Rossstar: So last year when I was here, all the girls looked like Hayley [Williams]. They had red hair [with] the blond in it. They had the belt. Are there any Charlotte look-alikes that you've seen today? Sometimes: Actually, yeah. I see a lot of 1950s poofy dresses going on, so that's kind of exciting. You can still hang with the boys and rock a dress. DJ Rossstar: Or the boys can wear a dress too. It's Warped Tour. Sometimes: It's Warped Tour. You never know what can happen.
