Music artist Andra Day showed up at the 2018 Oscars and made sure you saw her gown. Designed by Zac Posen, Day decided to get a little extra on the red carpet to flaunt her romantic floral dress. In fact, people were saying in 90 years of Oscars history, no woman has ever laid on the red carpet.

Although she was laying down on the carpet she encouraged the audience to “Stand Up for Something” while she took the stage with Common and 10 activists that night. She said, “I am truly honored to share the stage with such powerful people. People who work, sacrifice and have fought through their personal pain to make the world a better place.”
