featured window wall
helps block the heat from the wood stove so we don't fry in bed
also, it looks cool
windows were salvaged from a house in missoula, mt this summer
we moved in on january 2.
we'll finish the interior over the winter (depending on $$ and materials) and then start on the green roof, cisterns for water, deck, etc. this spring
we also bought some cedar to side the house with, so that will begin as soon as keith gets home (working in MT for a few weeks). the idea of doing barnwood was deemed too time-consuming and expensive since we got a good deal on the cedar. and it will look neat once it weathers.
more pics on flickr; i forget to update buzznet for the few of you not over on flickr---sorry.
