Yeah. Two of my best friends and I drove out there for a weekend in May. My friend's band was having it's CD release in Kenilworth and I didn't want to miss it.
gotcha. ive never even heard of kenilworth... but i looked at a map and ive been to every town surrounding it haha it always amazes me when i discover new towns that are that close to me
Haha. I bet! That's one of the things I love about Chicago's surrounding area...
We were all over the place that weekend. We stayed in Morton Grove, went to lunch in Wilmette, had the show in Kenilworth, and hopped the train to Chi-town the day we left.
Here it's like. Lansing. East Lansing. Holt. Eaton Rapids. Waverly. Done.
haha and that's just the north shore where you were. the burbs are just all overwhelming for me though haha, doesnt matter that ive been here my entire life!
I know! Chicago's my favorite city though, and I adore the surrounding area. If I move out of state it'll probably be somewhere around there... unless I get my job at AP and have to move to Cleveland, of course.
That is pretty funny...
I'm not sure yet. All I know is that I don't want to live IN Chicago, I'd rather take the Metra in. It all depends on what I can afford when I'm ready to head over there.
The crazy story was at lunch, not at random photo shoots in Kenilworth/Wilmette...
