For news, rumors, information and squid mourning in anticipation of the March 6th, 2009 release of Watchmen.

The My Chemical Column is reporting that MCR's cover of Bob Dylan's "Desolation Row," which is featured at the end of Zack Snyder's Watchmen film, will be released as both a digital single and a 12" vinyl record in the beginning of February. So while the world waits to hear what the newest record from the boys in black will sound like, we'll get to hear something new from them on February 9th!

While fans have waited impatiently through My Chemical Romance's self-imposed hiatus, the boys in the band haven't exactly stopped working. Recently, Gerard Way spoke to MTV about their other projects and plans to write and record their third major label studio album.

Although it might be some time until we hear a new album from My Chemical Romance, the band is in talks to record a song for the soundtrack of the 2009 superhero flick "The Watchmen" ... and it might be a cover.

Gonna go get me some extra work :)

Watchmen is my favourite graphic novel. Even better than V for Vendetta (by the same author).
