Matt and I both love narhwals...A LOT. This is our very own pet narwhal named Leonard Gat Dam. I got him at the end of the summer when warped tour was over. ISMFOF was in LA for a few days to film their latest SMOSH video (see my video section) so we got to open the toy together.

ISMFOF is on tour right now with ATTACK! ATTACK! and they finally come to LA next week. Im very stoked to see my dear friend Matt. So is Leonard!

So I’ve noticed in my travels that the world went from summer straight to winter…personally I love the fall weather so I’m a little bummed. But my mom did make me pack gloves for the cold weather…thank godddd!

Btw we have the coolest hoodie ever made…”where the wild KINGS are” haha

I need resees!! I’m full blown addicted…..healthy, no. Amazing, yes.

So last night I went to the Blink 182 show!! It was AMAZING!!!!

It inspired me to keep touring and playing music because it only gets better…

I had backstage passes thanks to Fall Out Boy who played before them but there was no way I was watching from there, I got down onto the floor right in front of the stage and it brought back so many memories.

I love that band and I’m glad they reunited :)

Daily Advice: go listen to a band you grew up listening to and see if it sparks any good ole memories!

Last weekend I went to see some friends from Breathe Carolina preform at the Rave and interview the band IRival (Dance Rawr Dance Tour III). I had never heard of them til my interview, but they are super good and you should check them out! They are also super sweet boys!

We ended up having a goofy party down in the haunted basement of the Rave. It was super fun. There was so much moisture in the air though that I kept slipping and falling on the pool slope. Basically, I have bruises the size of texas on my booty!

My average has always been around 50-60 points but something happened in this round where I blacked out and when I woke up I had 124 pts!!!!

Daily Advice: If you see a baby sitting next to you, stay very, very still and quiet, almost like you would if it were a T-Rex because any small movement could make that baby snap and then BOOM just like that you get a miniature screaming, crying, vicious Devil baby haha.

the weekend is here, finally, i love friday evenings after a busy chaotic week it's so nice to relax watch a couple of movies or have  bubble bath. tonight i i think i might be a little bit selfish and do both, and drink lots of hot tea yumm. thankfully my life is starting to work it's self out. for so long i was confused as to what i wanted to do with it, finally i've found something i truly enjoy and i really want to make a career out of it. i love make up artistry so much, i think make up is just annother form of art. just as much as a painting or a sculpture or an incredible pair this seasons YSL cage booties. it makes me so frustrated when people are always dissing on hairdressers and make up artists saying that it isnt a real career and you cant make something out of those sort of skills. you can, i dont care who says i can't do it or i'm not good enough if i wanna do it then i'm going to! speaking of YSL cage booties arnt they just to die for. i need to get me a pair of these.

the next few weeks i'm going to be so busy with work and such. so this weekend i'm just going to rest and chill with some family. today i got this amazing studded candle holder it's crystal and and is completely decked out with pyramid studs, the best thing it was on clearance for like $2 :) stoked. i literally cannot wait for summer. i love winter don't get me wrong but there's nothing better then a hot summer night hanging out with friend sipping on cocktails and daquris. yum. i also am soooo excited for all the summer festivals and shows that are coming to melb first theres soundwave where paramore, anvil, faith no more, you me at six and soo many other nads are playing, it's like the australian version of warped tour :) also there is big day which kinda has a lame lineup this year but i'll still be going, they are having lily allen, dizee rascal, muse and heaps of other bands only a couple of whom i actually like and listen to. and then i have taylor swift in feb! her performances are supposed to be killer, che played here not long ago like the start of this year but for some lame reason it was over 18's and i wasnt 18 yet only a couple of months off. not happy. taylor is so talented, i thought it was so rude what kanye did and i'm glad he didnt win any awards that night!

what's your favourite taylor swift song? i enjoy her older stuff, i've loved her since like 2006.

what the best concert/festival you've ever been too? mine was either soundwave 2009/bigdayout 2009 or christina aguilera 2005 stripped tour.

One day we hear about a new break through band called Versaemerge who signed to Fueled By Ramen Records and the next we hear of the departure of their co-founder and drummer Anthony Martone.
For some of us it came as a shock....well actually it came to a shock to all of us including Martone himself.
On September 19,2009 the red headed drummer Martone was full scale happy in his tweet about reuniting with fellow band mates in New York before their acoustic set

surprisingly 6 hours later he tweets about how he is no longer in the band.

For many of us fans we wonder what really happened and if we will ever get answers. In a sence if you keep up with bassist Devin Ingelido's myspace page you may have already read his blog that he posted about what happened. However, personally reading it I feel that some of the stuff that was mentioned is choppy and is covering up what really happened and pointing the finger towards someone else rather than at themself. If you didn't get a chance to read this here is your chance to get at least a breif summary of what led to the removal of Martone.

I have to say.My mind still cant translate what has happened in the past few days because I have been so overwhelmed. I catch myself choking on words day to day lately because of what choices had to be made. Let me start by saying that we are all human. whether you play in a band, or you go to college, work a job, the pope. It doesnt really matter because everyone has to deal with human interaction day to day. Sometimes, when youre with many people for long periods of time, you begin to realize more about a person. Day to day you share feelings and are subject to unfortunate events. I believe that if you decide to choose the route of being in a band, you almost have to be a different breed of person. You also have to accept the fact that despite what amazing things you have set for your future at the time, doesnt mean that it will always be in front of your feet. That a friendship you have with another, is only a true friendship if you can give them what they least want to hear but know with all your heart its for the best. It seems to me that word is spreading like wild fire about the " freeing" of my drummer and basically, my brother. Years have gone by of us playing together and i feel like every year it just gets faster and more intense. We have been touring as VersaEmerge getting close to two years now. Each member of this band has given their whole lives to this group and still deals with the obstacles that come with touring. But before I go any further, I already know that the words I share with you in this blog will either be interpreted or manipulated to cater to each individual. And thats ok because you will only find the truth here and now. Im not going to go into full detail because I feel like that is not needed in any way. But the fact is we decided to let Anthony go. We felt like his state of well being was slowly decending past the floor. This was agreed between Anthony and the band. At first we thought that maybe he just needed to take a break from the long days and nights of touring and have a chance to get himself together. This isnt something that all of a sudden started to arise. This has been feelings of depression that we feel started to escalate for quite some time now. Being that Anthony was my best friend, we have spent and have had many talks of these sorrows and have tried to mediate these feelings together. Also at different points people have asked him about his well being and didnt know exactly how to handle his problems. As time went by, we had a lot of thinking to do. I feel that Blake came up with an amazing theory. You can almost take the situation of the band as a relationship. Sometimes for someone to really get a chance to figure things out and examine themselves, they need to be apart. Letting a girlfriend or boyfriend go is always a hard thing. But once they are apart for a while, you really get to step outside of the box and really realize what the true intention of the parting was all about. Anthony is one of the most amazing complex human beings I have ever met. You will never find someone more passionate about what he does. And thats why I can smile knowing that with his determined heart, he will find himself and what he needs to be and overcome. Now our journey must continue. I love each and every one of you who have supported and still support our band through our changes. We will still be the VersaEmerge you know and love. I feel that if you look past the members who make the music, the true focus should really be our hearts melded together to create what we do. When you listen to music by yourself in your room or where ever that may be. You only hear the sounds and the message and how that relates to you. Like I said before, we are all only human and we are still growing and learning. I can never have enough thanks to his family for basically adopting me into their home. Who have been there every time I was down and gave me strength to persevere let alone put a roof over my head. I can go on and on but I'd like to conclude what I didnt finish in the subject to this blog...

However, does this really state the reason to the removal to the beloved ginger drummer? What are your thoughts on this upbrining? Do you feel that this is something worth "kicking" him out? Is it fair to dump your friend/brother out on the side of the street when he needed support the most?

I do understand that we as fans have a line where we stand when it comes to personal issues, but I also feel that we also deserve some proper answers especially since the band is headed out on tour with Boys Like Girls in a few weeks and they need to find a replacement drummer asap. I think most of us have one question on mind; did the band already have a person picked out prior to the removal of Mortone? Either way the fans have been left hanging when it comes to this issue.
