Warped Tour at the Gorge Amphitheater in George WA

I hope I found the right place for this.

Hey all. Here is some information about the Gorge Amphitheater for anyone going to the show in Aug. How do I know this information you may ask? I work security there and have been there for 13 seasons, in the amphitheater, in the campground, and the parking lot. I've even gone to a few shows as a patron myself.

If there is something here that doesn't quit cover your questions, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help. Information I’m providing may change without advance notice. Nothing is really set in stone but in jello. Things can change at the request of the band itself.

In the lot there is no drinking from open containers (bottles or cans). You can have alcohol in the lot as long as it's in a cup.

OK, so you don't want to park in the lot and you just want to go up to the campground so you can party before and after the show. It's $40 a night. The show is Fri night, so if you get there Thur night you would pay $80. There is also Premier Camping which is a bit more. Premier campers get flushing toilets, showers not accessible by the general campers, and a shuttle to and from the show. Premier camping costs $60 a night, $120 for two nights.

Too steep you say. There are campsites at Vantage along I-90 and Getty's Cove, but I don’t know their costs.

What can you bring in to the show? Soft sided coolers only (no Styrofoam). No glass, no cans. Soda, water, Gatorade, etc as long as there is still the factory seal. No professional (removable lens) cameras, no audio recording. Food, blankets, jackets, extra cloths are OK.

Extra cloths and a blanket you ask. It does at times get cold when the sun goes down. And if the wind is blowing from the Columbia River it gets chilly.

Rules/regulations in campground are all basically safety issues. We're in the desert and it's dry. No firearms or weapons of any kind. No fireworks, wood fires, open fires or fire pits. No underage drinking or minor in possession of alcohol. No illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia. No large parties, kegs or binge drinking devices. Quiet time is observed between 2:00 am and 7:00 am.
Bring a tent or camper, warm cloths, plenty of water and food.

There is a Guest Service desk inside the amphitheater if you have lost something. Lost items found at the end of the night are brought up to the campground after the show and the amphitheater is clear of people.

Enjoy your trip, your stay at the Gorge, and the show.

Hi I have a question about where the gates are and if there is a separate gate for loading because I'm going to be camping the night before and then setting up a non profit booth , just wondered if anyone had any clue to how that rolls out.
thanks :]

If you are setting up a booth for the show you would go through the staff gate. You'll be able to find that gate since it's the only one with a booth with it. Staff gate is located between the entrance into the main parking lot and the campground.

If you're camping in the campground then the day of show (load in) you'll have to go down to staff gate (also known as Sam's gate) to go through. Where exactly you booth will be set up I wouldn't have a clue. Someone from the show should be at Staff Gate directing vendors to the right place.

Hope this helps.

If you arrive on Fri you'll have to pay for two nights. If you arrive Sat morning, it's only one night.

You might have wanted to add in that if you pay for two nights of camping but only stay one night, you can get a refund so long as you leave before noon.

Sorry about not including that. Didn't want to get anyone's hopes up and it not happen.
