July 7, 2008to the young ones.i was reading an article in LA weekly just now. It was about a kid named Shyboy. How he died. It went on about the party before hand, and how the others at the party knew him, how the hotel said they did not know how he got in [bullshit, they knew there was a party and they knew how kids invite others etc.], how no one knew he was dead in the bottom of the pool until a vacationer was taking his last swim before heading home. I just wanted to say kids, that I know it's tempting to just say eff it and have a good time, but just be careful. there are so many things that can go wrong, and just be aware of your surroundings etc. i remember my party days, i look back and i am so thankful i didn't end up like many of our friends, the kids we went to school with and shyboy. the story never gave his name, he never made press until this article, and there are countless of us that we can think of who "went off the deep end". either to hard drugs, poor life choices, growing up too quickly, or just falling through the cracks. think of what it is you want out of life. and keep that in mind. i am not saying those weren't good memories, well, those i can remember at least, but just be careful. don't smoke with someone you don't know. make sure if you're at a hotel party, someone knows where you are, someone who cares enough to make sure you're alright in the morning or that you get home safely. they taught us the buddy system and we have wingmen for reasons. i am not blaming anyone in this, but i am using it as a spur for this journal entry. i may not know all of you personally, but i care enough to not want to hear about this happening to anyone else. RIP shyboy. I don't know what happened exactly, i wasn't there, but hopefully this helps you live on in some small way.

May 3, 2008Colonscopy to Go (WARNING: GRAPHIC PICS--AND NOT THE FUN KIND EITHER, LOL!)
Nobody wants one. Everyone 50 and over is supposed to get it up the rear eventually, lol! I didn't want to either but doctors begin nagging you the second you approach the "decade of maintenance" as my doctor puts it. Do you look at that as falling apart or time to take care of yourself? Or a little of both?
Anyway, I resolved to do it this year and wanted it out of the way so I could enjoy my summer.. Good thing, too, cuz they found something. ![]() My doctor said it was a big one! So, when I googled "distal sigmoid colon" the hits I got were about lesions and cancer. Did finding that now just prolong my life for the sake of an uncomfortable, pukey day (magnesium citrate upset my tummy--nobody else I know had that happen) and a procedure that had me in at 11:00 a.m. and home by 2:00? I am glad I did it and hope you will too when the time comes. And to my sister, who "stubbornly" refuses to get one, I'll take you. It's important.

December 31, 2007THE NEW GOLDEN STORY!!!! (fanfiction readers)YES it's that time friends on buzznet!! To those people who ACTUALLY liked my writing, and want me to write more, I am returning from my "hiatus" to write another fanfiction. Now, Through Glass or Action Figures counted as "fanfiction", at least to me. Through Glass was an experiment (gone wrong so I will be deleting it, if I haven't already). Now during this hiatus I have accomplished what I had once thought impossible. I have actually written almost SIX chapters of my self proclaimed "golden" fanfiction. Tonight i actually considered posting the first chapter. Then it occured to me that I should check if I still had a fanbase out there. And if I did I had to give out warnings. For one, this is not like a lot of the stories I have written in the past. This one, unlike the others, I do not doubt with altercations to the characters, it could very well be a book plot. The storyline is VERY well thought out and I intend for it to be long. Secondly, in posting there will be MUCH time in between each chapter. Now, this is so that i do not do as I did in the past and rush. I used to get SOO frustrated with those who didn't post IMMEDIATLY, but perfection takes time. I swear I could go back a million times and ALWAYS find somehting to fix, but I must settle for what I have. Also, in the time between each chapter, I would SERIOUSLY appreciate a littel publicity, and those who do give me a plug in once and while (and notifys me of it) will be rewarded. And finally, like I said, this will take time, and it IS much like a book. I do believe even if you hate or do not know of the band it is about, you will still love it. To be honest, I haven't been more proud of any of my other works. Now do not let this stop you from constructive critism!!! So, I leave it up to you all now. If you would still like me to post the first chapter, knowing the time range and that this will not ALL be comedy (it is a realistic drama), PLEASE do not hesitate to let me know. I have left behind the works i am proud of right now, so refer to those if your mind needs help. But do also keep in your thoughts this is completly different than those. But I'm just ranting now. Let me know if you'd like me to post or wait and write some more!!!! ~Merci Pour Le Venin~ Taylor

Anyone who openly, on an online journal talks about how
they want to commit suicide, Is begging for attention. People who really want to die don't advertise their feelings like that. Everyone knows what it's like to not want to go on, it's a part of LIFE. Trials and tribulations people, were gonna deal with it the rest of our lives. But it's worth it. The good times are worth the bad times, and if you can't get through highschool without killing yourself than you gotta HELLUVA road ahead of you cause bein a kid aint SHIT like bein in the real world. Anywho...lol, that's my opinion.

June 2, 2007It May Save a Life?Did you receive a message here on Buzznet like this?
Sounds very touching, as lung cancer and brain tumors are tough to deal with.
If you really want to help all of the Matt Dawson's of the world, volunteer your time and talents, donate frequent flier miles, go shopping, donate computer equipment, or eat more Lays potato chips (at 25¢ per bag). But in any case, please just stop causing the Make-A-Wish Foundation to look like a scam outfit.
