We Are the Fury's Rehearsal Space, Equipment Ruined By Flood; Band Asking for Donations
Interested in seeing We Are the Fury perform in your town? A recent flood in the band's practice space has ruined its equipment, and the members are asking for your help in getting them back on the road.
"In the 15 years that the garage has been there, it has never flooded," the band revealed in a recent statement. "Also, the neighbors to us who are in their 70's said that they have lived in their house for 50 years and have never seen a flood. We don't know why or what gods we've angered, but it appears as though some force is out to get us." The band made it to its show the night of the flood (July 4) and performed on borrowed equipment ... but now they are in need of some new equipment ... and towels (sorry for the bad joke).

"This whole ordeal is keeping us from finishing up recording which also means holding us back from hitting the road as soon as we wanted to. We know the economy is bad right now, and we hate asking for more from the people who've already given us so much, but if you have any money you can spare, please help us by donating to our "We Are The Fury Flood Relief Fund". Any amount from $1 to infinity is welcome."

Currently, the band has one show planned on August 2 at Waterfront: Smoke on the Water in Toledo, Ohio with Eve 6. We Are The Fury released its debut full-length, Venus, back in 2007.
