The Media.

It just hypes up so many little things.

Talk about making mountains out of molehills.

I know the whole Lindsay/Samantha Ronson thing has more evidence of a possible same-sex relationship now, but the picture that started it off, that candid shot of what appeared to be both of them kissing in a club, started it all off.

I don't know about you, but yes, I peck my girlfriends on the lips.

In a purely NON sexual way.

A kiss is a way to show affection, to show your emotion towards that person.

So if that little candid picture, which looked as though it had been taken on some crappy camera phone, was all that had been released of the kiss between Lindsay and Samantha, the media would've still hyped it up straight away, the headlines on each brightly coloured magazine barely differing, but all featuring that same picture.

'LESBIAN LINDSAY?'

And whatnot.

It's like that whole Miley Cyrus thing too.

The whole Vanity Fair photoshoot.

I honestly didn't really care about it.

All I saw it as was this teenager, who is about my age, getting the chance to be in this huge worldwide magazine, and therefore letting the art director of the photoshoot, who's made all those other celebrities she's seen in that same magazine look so great, do what she wanted to.

Are you telling me that if you were somebody who shot to fame so quickly, you wouldn't do that?

I just generally saw that whole thing as stupid and pointless.

15 Year olds out in the world are doing SO much worse than just posing with a bare back for various people. Compare it to those things and it seems so stupid.

Well, stupider than it orginally was.

I'll probably update this later because it's 11.30PM here and I'm kinda tired.
