A Michael Jackson Tribute

I know its a little too late to post this but as you know The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is dead. He slipped away around 5:00pm on Thursday the 25th of June. Michael was someone we all wanted to be. He was creative, a practical joker, and whoo! That man could dance! When I first saw him I knew I wanted to be like that when I got older. And if your gonna say "You wanted to moleste children?" I'm gonna say NO! He didn't moleste children thats all a bunch of bull! When you get to the point you realize that there can be no other Michael Jackson and we will all miss him dearly.

Rest In Peace Michael Jackson

Amy Speace Gives Tribute To Judy Collins on 'Born To The Breed'

'Born To The Breed - A Tribute to Judy Collins, Vol. I' featuring Amy Speace alongside the likes of legends Dolly Parton, Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Chrissie Hynde, James Murdriczki, Jim Lauderdale, Leonard Cohen, Dar Williams, Bernadette Peters, Ali Eskandarian, Joan Baez, Kenny White, Jimmy Webb, and The Webb Sisters.

Take a listen to Amy Speace's remake of "Born To The Breed" on facebook and SoundCloud

"'Born to the Breed' is a splendid cover of Judy Collins' classic track. In her adaptation, Amy Speace takes a powerful folk song and adds a hint of country flair to it. Amy sings with conviction and a commanding voice, with the result being a wonderful tribute to one of the icons of folk music." - Eric Hartline, MusicDish

To purchase 'Born To The Breed - A Tribute to Judy Collins, Vol. I' , visit: amazon | iTunes

Amy Speace has already won a loyal grass-roots fan base, thanks in large part to live performances that merge warmth, humor and emotional immediacy, and to a tireless touring schedule that's already taken her across the United States. She's also won considerable critical acclaim, with The Village Voice observing that Speace is "taking her Americana away from twangy contemplation toward tangy confrontation" and noting that she's "not another of those breathy would-be child poets, but a real singing writer of songs." Time Out New York stated, "Amy Speace plays sweet, twangy folk music with a clear voice and an innocent vulnerability," while The Nashville Scene noted that she "balances wry humor with open-hearted honesty." And renowned Nashville critic Robert K. Oermann, writing in Music Row, dubbed her a "new star." http://www.amyspeace.com

For anyone who loves that Pansy Frank and was worried when he got sick.

For anyone who has ever fantasied about playing with Ray's hair.

For anyone who got worried when Bob got burnt.

For anyone who cried every single time Gerard got drunk or high.

For anyone who bought MCR's new ablum the very second they could and protect it with their lives.

For anyone who can't watch The Ghost Of You without crying when Mikey gets shot.

For anyone who isn't okay.

For anyone who loves My Chemical Romance with ALL of their black little hearts.

For anyone who didn't just listen to their music, but their lyrics too.

For anyone who thinks they'll die alone.

For anyone who wanted to jump up on stage just to give them hugs.

For anyone who wanted to meet them just to say 'Thank you'.

For anyone who wanted them for their advice, not their money.

For anyone who wants to say 'I love you' without any remorse.

For anyone who is sick of having their heart broken, or getting hurt.

For anyone who can honestly say that MCR saved their lives.

For anyone who gets exited when someone says "Gerard, Frankie, Bob, Mikey, or Ray."

For enyone who listens to the message of MCR.

For every one who dont know where they'd be with out them,

For every one whos lives changed the moment they heard one song.

For every one who would hold a funeral procession at school if MCR broke up.

We ARE the MCRmy

They told us they weren't OK.

They told us vampires would never hurt us.

They want us to say our Famous Last Words and join The Black Parade.

They said the mirror wasn't big enough for the both of them.

They cried for the ghost of us.

They introduced us to Helena.

They don't love us like they did yesterday.

We ARE the MCRmy.

Real MCR fans know more songs than Welcome to the Black Parade.

Real MCR fans know Gerard Way's brother's name.

Real MCR fans get exited and hiper when one of there songs come on the radio.

Real MCR fans punch their cousins/brothers/parents/friends for dissing Gerard's hair or anything about MCR for their sake.

Real MCR fans know the names of everyone in the band and what they do.

Real MCR fans shop for hours just to find a jacket like the band's have for concert.

Real MCR fans will keep reading this.

I AM a Demolition Lover.

I am NEVER Okay.

I WAS Welcomed To The Black Parade.

I AM young and I dont care.

I AM disenchanted.

I AM filled with Unapolagetic Apathy.

I mourned Mikeys glasses and the Death of Pansy.

I Live Life On The Murder Scene.

I DID cry to the Ghost Of You.

I DID feel empowered to Famous Last Words.

I worried about Bob and his burn.

I helped Gerard stay sober.

I have an obsession with Rays hair.

I AM NOT Afraid To Keep On Living.

I AM NOT Afraid To Walk This World Alone.

I DID Crash The Cemetry Gates.

I Brought You My Bullets When You Brought Me Your Love.

I DID give Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.

I DO know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison.

Ive Given Em Hell And Hung Em High.

I HAVE Killed All My Friends.

I DID give you gallons of blood.

I HAVE seen the Early Sunsets OverMonreville.

Vampires CAN NEVER hurt me.

I AM dead and I will be buried in all my favourite colors, BLACK.
SO SHUT YOUR EYES, KISS ME GOODBYE AND SLEEP. THESE ARE OUT FAMOUS LAST WORDS. SO THANK YOU FOR THE VENOM, SO LONG AND GOOD NIGHT.

Frank has ANOTHER new project!

'Break? What break?'
That has to be what Frank said as soon as they left the MSG stage the other week. He is still a very busy boy.

According to Punknews.com:
Pete 'The Pete' Steinkop and Michael McDermot of Bouncing Souls, DJ Values of Let It Burn, Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance, Andrew Everding of Thursday and Matt Scara of Pitch Black Blonde have formed a Cure tribute act named The Love Cats.

The band will be making their live debut on June 7, 2008 alongside a "heavy metal Bee Gees tribute" named Tragedy and Anna Copa Cabana at Asbury Park in New Jersey.

Does that man ever stop? The answer is NO and is why we love him of course!

Tribute =)

This is a tribute to one of the greatest boys i have ever known.

His name was Dean Pike n he lived not too far from me. He was tradically taken away from all of his friends and family on 24th June 2004, he was in year 7 at Southmoor Community School (which i went to and i still do until next year).

He died because of some stupid people who thought an ex of one of them lived at Deans address, so they decided to poru lighter fluid through the letter box and then put a match through as well.

His mother (who was about 5/6 months pregnant at the time wiv his baby bro McKenzie) had to jump out of the window to save herself.

The last words she said to Dean on that night were "Good night son, I'll see you in the moring".

Dean died on the first time on the way to Sunderland General Hospital but the managed to revive him, but sadly that wasnt enough. He passed away in the ward if Sunderland General.

I still remember the song they played at his funeral, its was Keane - Everybodys Changing.

Here are the lyrics;

You say you wander your own land
But when I think about it
I don't see how you can

You're aching, you're breaking
And I can see the pain in your eyes
Since everybody's changing
And I don't know why.

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same.

You're gone from here
Soon you will disappear
Fading into beautiful light
'cause everybody's changing
And I don't feel right.

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same.

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same.

Ooo...
Everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same.

I will never forget the good times we had or you Dean, I miss you. All of us who knew you do n your are not forgotten, in our memories, in southmoor and in our hearts.

This is for you Dean (above) x x x
