Had to say Depp. I think he might be a little old for the role, but at the same time I think he would have the depth to play the part just right.

Poor Keanu, I don't think anyone (but possibly himself) could ever picture him as Dream (not if he talked). But he got to play John Constantine!

ROBERT SMITH. HANDS-DOWN.

I have been a HUGE fan of Sandman ever since I was a kid, and I KNOW that Robert would be PERFECT for the part. In fact, I remember when I was little (well...maybe 10-11 ish?) I saw a picture of him and asked my mom if he was Sandman. My mom, of course, had no idea what I was talking about so she just said sure. So in my mind, Robert Smith will always = Sandman.

Davey, although gorgeous, just doesn't have that *it* that makes him Sandman...Morpheus has to have this sort of...insane tragedy aura to him, and Robert has it. Davey would be better as another one of Sandman's siblings...Desire, possibly, if he *had* to star in the movie....

p.s. stuart and keanu already had their chance. And Keanu...wasn't that great at it. Constantine was an awesome movie, if you shut your eyes and forgot it represented a comic book.

I'm torn between Davey & Trent. But I'd have to say Davey, he just has the look!
