Okay, with only one week left of 2009, it’s high time i finished up my top tens of ’09! This list is for my top ten favorite videos of 2009 (in no particular order of course). Now, i may not watch too many videos, (which of course effects this list) but when I see one I really like, it's going to be constantly replayed.

1. Weightless - All Time Low
   
   
    
   This has to be my favorite video by ATL. It's hilarious and true at most parts. In a way, the band sort of humbles itself a bit by once again showing that they don't take themselves too seriously. Love this video and this song!
    
2. Brick By Boring Brick - Paramore
   
   
   
   I know a lot of people may disagree with this choice. I for one, almost didn't put this on because it's glaring lack of focus on a good 3/5 of the band. But i liked the concept of it, especially the end. No, I'm not cruel. I don't enjoy little children dying. But I did think the little girl falling into the hole sort of represented Hayley burying her past and I loved that haha.
    
3. The Brightest Green - Anarbor
   
   
   
   The synchronized headbanging at 2:04 pretty much made my day and got this on the list hahahaha. I liked this video, it was pretty entertaining to watch and complimented the song nicely.
    
4. Uprising - Muse
   
   
   
   If you didn't see this coming, then you obviously don't know me hahaha. I absolutely LOVE Muse and this single and the new album! This video was ah-mazing! As is anything that sports killer teddy bears and Muse!
    
5. My Beautiful Rescue - This Providence
   
   
   
   OHHAITHEREDANYOUNG. I thought this video was pretty simple but absolutely adorable. Tbh, when i listened to this song for the first time, I pretty much pictured a very summery setting such as this one. As such, i really loved this video, especially the adorable ending.
    
6. 21 Guns - Green Day
   
   
   
   I lovvvvedd this video and this song! It was pretty kickass. All there is to it haha.
    
7. Fireflies - Owl City
   
   
   
   I'd like to start off by saying that Adam should look up more when someone takes his picture haha. Secondly, this video was absolutely adorable! I thought it went pretty well with the song. It was light and playful just like Fireflies itself.
    
8. Sink Into Me - Taking Back Sunday
   
   
   
   Okay this video was majorly badass in my opinion. The song itself is amazing and so is this music vid. Any artists that are willing to cover themselves in goo for a few hours straight is good in my book hahaha. I thought this video was pretty fun to watch and definitely fun for the guys to make.
    
9. You Belong With Me - Taylor Swift
   
    
   
   WHOA GUILTY PLEASURE ALERT! Okay, this may come as a shock to some of you, but I do enjoy some occasional T. Swift. And this song is def. one of the few of hers that i love. I thought the video was absolutely adorable. Once again, pretty simple but that made it better in my opinion. It wasn't anything fancy shmancy. In fact, it was pretty down to earth video wise without being boring. It was a short little love story in a cute, and common (in a good way?) setting.
   
   
10. On the Bright Side - Nevershoutnever!
    
    
    
    First off, this song is one of few things that can make me smile. It was subtly inspirational, if I do say so myself. The video was quaint and of course went perfectly with the song. It reminded me a bit of cartoons that I used to watch as a kid. You know, the ones that always tell you to keep on tryin' and that you should never give up? Yeah, those. I loved it! 
    
    
    Well, that's my list! Obviously, I don't have a very large selection of videos but I think that these are all pretty deserving.

2009 was the best but also the worst. MJ dying was a terrible loss and Brittany Murphy was pretty sad too. I am probably gunna miss DJ AM a lot cause he was a rly good DJ who mixed hip  hop and rock so well. </3 So yeah I dedicate my love to these 3 people who did what they love for the fans. :) Anyways, on a happier note here is all the albums from 2009 that I really enjoyed.

10. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
The songs are pretty good, I am basically addicted to Bad Romance so yeah...I might have to enjoy that for awhile xP

9. Paramore - Brand New Eyes
I wasn't disappointed, it was just more of loss of interest. I mean I enjoyed the album but sometimes I wonder why I got it? Anyways, no offense to any fans out there its just my opinion. My favorite songs wuld have to be: All I Wanted, Brick by Boring Brick, Ignorance, and Careful.

8. Owl City - Ocean Eyes
I loved this album it was really really awesome! Adam never seizes to amaze me :) His sound is really original and very easy to enjoy. My fav songs are : Vanilla Twilight, Hello Seattle, and Fireflies. Adam I <3 ya!

 

7. Justin Bieber - My World
Okay I gotta say this and its gunna kill me but I like Justin Bieber. His songs are...idk they are really cool I guess? I really enjoy One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, and Common Denominator. Now everytime in math I just think about that song lol.

6. This Providence - Who Are You Now?
This Providence are really good and this was probably one of my top played albums EVER on my ipod. Other than All Time Low or The Maine this is definitly one I enjoy a lot :)

5. All Time Low - Nothing Personal
People say that this album was probably disasppointing? But seriously? When I got it for my bday that was all I kept listening to! Some songs like Stella and Too Much weren't really going for me but songs like Weightless, Break Your Little Heart, and Lost in Stereo were my FAVORITES! They are basically saying you are slut, nothing personal. I really enjoy how they make their songs sound funny, All Time Low is probably one of the best bands EVER!

4. Fall Out Boy - Folie A Deux (Even if it isn't 2009 it still counts! Cause i luv it!)
FOB is so frickin awesome! They never stop being awesome! Even if Pete Wentz did cut his hair I still love them! My favorite songs from this album is : America's Suitehearts, I Dont Care, She's My Winona, and What a Catch Donnie. <3

 

3. Friday Night Boys - Off the Deep End
Friday Night Boys is totally my favorite band. They're music is just music you can listen to when you are in the mood. Say you're a guy who is head over heels for this girl you could listen to 'She's Finding Me Out' FNB are really cool. My Fav song for the moment is Stuttering cause its just so party mood and very crush story book kind of song.

2. Flyleaf - Momento Mori
Flyleaf is very inspirational to me ever since I first heard All Around Me I have been addicted to them :) This album I was very stoked for I mean I was like literally counting down to it. Momento Mori is really really great to listen to! Flyleaf's self titled album was a bit more out there and less moody. Momento Mori is more dark and I really enjoy it. My fav songs wuld have to be....Again, The Kind, Swept Away, Tiny Heart, and Beautiful Bride. If you havent heard this album or listened to any of their new songs you better do it before I cut you! LoL i am kidding!

1. A Rocket to the Moon - On Your Side
ARTTM's new album is the best ever! I have been addicted ever since I got it! Nick Santino is a really great singer and his voice is just so good! The sound is very coffeeshop and very calm. I could listen to it all day without anything really blasting. Mr. Right is probably the best song on the album cause its my top played on my ipod! My other favs are :Where Did You Go?, She's Killing Me, Like We Used to, and On Your Side. This album is really great, check it out! :D

Our Top 10 Jimmy Eat World Songs

Here in the Epitaph Accountant's corner, we listen to ALOT of music...and we also talk a lot about music.. and we also work alot...with music. Something we can all agree on is that collectively, Jimmy Eat World is one of our favorite bands. That's why we have dubbed Jimmy Eat World, the Official Band of the Accountants Corner.

Every Halloween there are the few costumes that tend to be soooooo overplayed. Every year certain girls take Halloween as an opportunity to dress slutty. Woot WoOt!!! Go to one if you can! YEahh, I know everyone has body issues and such, dont worry! Everyone does! But believe me, if you focus on anything else on your body, anything that you know looks amazing (everyone has something on their body that they where blessed with! ;D). Anyway, just focus on that one part of your body and have confadince in it! No one will notcie that you feel bad about anywhere else on your body! Believe me! I finally had peace with my body two years ago, and now I feel amazing!

Who doesnt love this girl? Well if you are looking for some awsome toons for this summer, I recomend some of her stuff. I love her so much (hahaaa no lezbo). Ohh and I will be having a contest where I make your fave Katy Perry outfit, and I will send it to you! (comming June 2nd-ish)

 I'm so epically bored there is no scale large enough to measure it, so in true Peter Griffin style, here are 10 things that grind my gears.

10. Boredom

Oh boredom, how I loath you. This feeling only ever seems to come when you know you have no right to be. A friend once told me that only boring people get bored, and that the devil makes work for idle hands. I think maybe they were trying to tell me something...



9. Being talked over the top of.

One of the single most angering things. How hard it is to wait until I've finished my sentence, no matter how boring or shit you may think my conversation is. My boyfriend seems to do it all the time. JUST.LET.ME.TALK!!! >-<



8. Edward Cullen.

#2. Bill Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)

Tokio Hotel win the award for worst hair in a rock duo or group with two entries in my top 10 bad hair list. Lead singer Bill Kaulitz is evidence that Germany is indeed 20+ years behind the rest of the world when it comes to rock & roll style. His big 80s metal hair looks like it must take hours of attention and gallons of hairspray. But it's the spiked effect and two-tone coloring that really take it over the top. Incredibly, Bill has been able to combine some of the most tacky and overdone hair clichés into one putrid and hilarious mess.


#4. Tom Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel)

Our second entry from the German band Tokio Hotel is Tom Kaulitz. This pick was really quite easy. The bottom line is, if you're white and have dreadlocks you'll be humiliated on a daily basis, and you probably deserve to be. The history of the dreadlock can be traced back to ancient Egypt and it is integral to parts of African, Rastafarian and Hindu culture. Dreads simply don't belong on white people as they make you look ridiculous. All they display is your lack of individuality and insensitivity to cultures that you are not a part of and have no insight to. Tom Kaulitz is a perfect example of how foolish white kids look with dreads.
