Tickle Me Pink Bassist Johnny Schou Found Dead at 22

On the heels of a DVD release and with a line-up of shows in the works, Tickle Me Pink bassist Johnny Schou was found dead at the young age of 22. There's been no explanation announced as to the cause of death, but we've got all the information that's been released as of yet.

Buzznet just received this press release regarding the incident:

Tickle Me Pink bassist Johnny Schou was found dead this morning at home in Colorado. The quartet from Fort Collins was to celebrate the release of their debut album with an in-store appearance in Denver today. Further information regarding the band's plans, and dates that have been previously announced, will be forthcoming in due time. Schou was 22 years-old. We promise to keep you updated as more information is made available.

The band was set to hit the road on a full U.S. with Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Finch from July 18 through September 19. An announcement regarding the band's future touring plans is expected shortly.

I don't really know anything about the band though, it's still a tradgedy. Why do people have to die so young, 22...Twenty Two...THAT is not a lifespan thats a fucking childhood!
