Orem, Utah rocker's, The Used, who've been exciting fans by with new songs at the Bamboozle and Bamboozle Left Festivals and at their recent headlining shwos, have announced the release of their 4th studio album, Artwork, for a September 1, 2009 release via Reprise Records. And, starting July 21, a deluxe pre-order package of the album

A Cal Tech grad student recently conducted an intriguing study correlating music preferences with SAT scores. (Yeah, that's so scientific). Whatever you think of SAT's as a measure of true intellectual power, the Cal Tech student's results show that the “smartest” students’ favorite musician is Beethoven, with an average SAT score of 1371, and at the other end of the spectrum is Lil’ Wayne, with an average score of 889. You can only imagine the discussion underway among the true geniuses at Absolute Punk.
