This Movie:The Shining

The Shaning definitely a cult film by Stanley Kubrick based on the novel by Stephen King. This is the story of how a former teacher, former drinker, Jack takes a job for the winter season in the hotel "Overlook." Where he later and goes with his wife Wendy and son Danny. But only at first glance it seems that it is so great to stay in a great hotel and do what you want only. But in fact, there is a syndrome where multiple people live in a confined space, they may begin to feel hatred for each other. And the consequences can be very sad and no one will help you. The more that a similar case has already come to one of the previous winter guards who killed his wife and two daughters. But Jack is aware of this and not to pay attention to, and his wife is only a little bit afraid but can hardly believe it. But Danny sees that it is seeing the twins sisters which killed his father and sees a wave of blood fills the hallway.

The movie must watch it's a classic!

Kubrick's genius movie adaptation of Stephen King's "The Shining" is all around one of my favorite scary movies of all time, but this famous scene of Danny's vision of the ghostly twins and what happened to them is still as creepy as it was when it was first made. This part of the movie wasn't even in the book; this is all Kubrick right here. COME PLAY WITH US DANNY...FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER...

* Estaba viendo una Kubricka movie "The Shinning" y me dieron ganas de salir a pasear en mi triciclo apache por el lobby del hotel. Desafortunadamente, y por mas que lo desee, jamas me tope con una marea salvaje de roja sangre color koolaid, ni fui seducido por una mujer desnuda de piel mojada y colgante. Y creo que se debe a que como buen abstemio que soy, rechaze tomarme unos tragos con el buen Pete cuando me lo tope detras de esa barra del bar. Pero lo paseado, quien me lo quita? :P Vean esa pelicula, "El Resplandor" para que vean como se hace buen uso del hacha! Le daria 5 estrellas pero me las comi, quien le manda al Carls hacerlas tan yum-yummy!

Timberline Lodge

The outside of Timberline Lodge. Some of the exterior shots for the movie The Shining were filmed here. We sat right by the big window near the center of this picture - it's about three stories up, you can see the huge snow drift around it. It snowed about a half foot in the 2 hours we were up there, they have a base of about 15 feet of snow now! While visiting Portland before we moved here, we stayed the night at the lodge and ate in their fancy restaurant. For dessert, we got some chocolate cake, with red-rasperberry sauce. While Ronda wasn't looking, I spelled redrum in the sauce, she didn't think that was funny - especially later on that night when it was pitch black in our room.
