Charlize Theron, Mortensen to star in 'The Road'
After the success of the recent adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's moralistic western, No Country For Old Men, another celebrated novel of his is set to hit the big screen: The Road. Starring Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen, the movie will chronicle a man and his son trying to survive in a world full of cannibals.
Knowing that the Coen brothers relied heavily on the novel for No Country For Old Men makes me want to read Cormac McCarthy. Even though Oprah loves him and I tend not like books she hypes.
