If you're like me and cannot get enough of all things Disney-inspired you might find the imaginative works created by Deviant ART user Christopher Stoll pretty awesome. I thought it was kind of appropriate since Marvel is just one of the many companies owned by Disney. But I think it's a bit weird seeing the typical pretty princess image replaced with a fierce and powerful one. Pocahontas as Captain America is probably my fave of the bunch. This week we shall talk about movies! I have seen SO many movies this year, probably more than I ever have in theaters. I have tried to keep up with giving you reviews on the movies by the month, which you may or may not have checked out. There have been some good, some disappointing, some horrible and some amazing movies that came out this past year. Actually, there are still a few I feel like would make my list, like Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty and Silver Linings Playbook. They all look great! If you've ever played video games, you will appreciate this movie. If you love cuteness, you will definitely appreciate this! I really want to watch this movie again. <p>Surprise surprise. I think it would be ridonkulous if this movie weren't on my list! All minus Catwoman, LOVE! It was such a perfect ending for the perfect trilogy. I had a few friends who liked this more than <em>The Dark Knight</em>, I don't know if I could go as far as saying that. It came pretty darn close though. I mean Tom Hardy, is one of my many lovers, and he killed it. There were a little of everything for everyone, action, romance, surprises, crying. Oh my, how close I was to balling in this movie. The fact I never cry in movies, and I almost cried in this MOVIE. You guys, it's over, time to have myself a marathon. I had heard about the movie and seen a few trailers and stuff, but it was only released in select theaters so I wasn't able to watch it when it came out. But it happened to be playing on the plane to Paris, and it was a great plane ride. These two are so good together! As though they aren't funny enough by themselves, the just had great chemistry. And it really wasn't the story I was expecting, which made me love it more. I am not very into the romantic movies, but this definitely isn't sappy at all and I don't know if I could characterize it as a romcom either. <p>There is not a single person I have recommended this book to, that did not like it. Because the book is just amazing. By far one of my favorite books I have ever read. As short as it is, the book is just filled with so much meaning. I was able to connect with Charlie and everything he went through more than any character I have ever read. I was super excited and nervous about this movie. Because, I loved the casting, but they had a lot to live up to. But they really did an amazing job! <strong>Logan Lerman</strong> was the absolute best choice for Charlie, and I am not saying that because I am obsessed with him. I did not love <strong>Emma Watson&nbsp;</strong>at all, but even her bad accent did not stop the movie from being great!</p> <p>If you haven't read the book, read it first and then watch the movie! <p>I know, how can I have this and<strong> Batman</strong> in the same list? Because they were both THAT good! I really liked the individual movies for&nbsp;<em>Thor </em>and<em> Captain America</em> and I hated&nbsp;<em>Iron Man</em>. But I even enjoyed <strong>Iron Man</strong> in the mist of the others! It was kind of a miracle. Everyone bounced off of each other so well, and I love how well the connected everyone's story lines with their individual movies. <p>I knew this movie was made by the director of <em>In Bruges</em> and that he was teaming up with <strong>Collin Farrell</strong> again. Which was awesome, because<em> In Bruges </em>is one of my favorites ever. But, from the posters and few commercials I saw, this movie just looked weird and lame. I had very low expectations, and man was I wrong. The randomest concept, yes, but it is so funny and clever. <p>I'm sorry, but can there just not be a Best Actor category for anything this year? Because if<strong> Daniel Day Lewis</strong> doesn't sweep the whole thing, well then I think it's safe to say whoever runs the award shows are STUPID! This man legitimately walked, talked and lived like<em> Lincoln</em>. It is a bit scary how good he is in the role. <p>I love the fact this movie isn't a love story! She is the first princess who doesn't fall in love with some Prince Charming or what-not. So don't get fooled. Merida is fighting for her independence and has some interesting adventures with her mom! This movie was just plain good. It's one of those movies that everyone should watch. The movie was based off of a real event, that I had never even heard about before.
