was wild and crazy
Thai new year
celebrated with uninhibited good natured water drenching.
all day- soaked and soaked again.
its the hottest time of the year, so the ice water is a welcome relief.
it was fun
we went to an "elephant camp" and i rode an elephant for the first time. it was pretty cool. i felt horrible though-these animals are abused, and it is sad

we learned all about opium in an Opium museum, it was an amazing museum
this is the place where the Beach was filmed- koh phiphi len
a lot of controversy, because they caused a lot of environmental damage while filming. there were lots of diving boats in the area, we snorkled
since railey is a peinisula you can walk from the east side to the west side. we got to see the sunrise in the east and set in the west. since these are my two favorite times of the day, i was pretty excited
i got to go to Koh Chang with 20 of my thai friends. it was very fun!
we went snorkling, saw fireflies, played on the beach, swam, ate, relaxed, and had a blast!
Koh Chang is a wonderful, beautiful place, wish you could see it
