i am so tired. it's my own fault though, i stayed awake until 3am reading 'definitely dead' by charlaine harris. i'm about halfway through it, and although it's not as exciting as the other ones in the series, it's still great. i really recommend the sookie stackhouse series. for anyone who doesn't know, these are the books that the 'true blood' tv series is based on.

i got up at 7am to go to work. yep, tired. i ended up being ten minutes late haha. i don't care, there was nobody there to chastise me for it. anyway, im home now but on my way home i picked up a tax return kit from my local post office. this means i should do my tax return, but im blogging instead.

"hi, my name's melle and i'm a procrastinator."
all in unison: "hi melle."

good news, i found out what is wrong with my foot. it was rolling inwards when i walked or something, so now i have to wear shoes that have an arch in them. or just not wear flat shoes for too long. meh.

tomorrow night i was going to go and see newton faulkner for free, which was organised by one of my amazing managers (who's quitting soon :( ) but apparently it's been cancelled. emma and ali from work were going to go but now they're going to go and see michael paynter instead and since i couldn't go out on saturday night for emma's birthday, she wants me to come. i don't know who the heck michael paynter is -- some random melbournian, i'm assuming -- but i'll probably go anyway.

not much else to say other than i really don't want to get started on the dishes which have piled up over the last few days, but i hear them calling my name. boo.

i'd love to hear about anyone's favourite local musicians, like who are you really into that not many other people know about or have heard of?
