The Rodarte dress came in and I must convey my happiness and satisfaction!!!  It is so beautiful and I love everything about it.  It had gotten a decent amount of bad reviews on target.com and I was a little anxious to see the dress and judge it for myself.  A lot of the reviews complained about the fit, the waistline being loose, the slipdress being slinky and thin, the boob area not fitting right.  The only complaint I had is about a snap in the back.  I am afraid to tear the tulle when I unsnap it.  The waistline is a little odd, but with a belt, I think it looks great!  As far as the boob fit, I can see it not fitting so well on very well endowed ladies, but I think it looks fine with a good strapless bra.  It is soft and slinky and for $40 by Rodarte I am not going to complain.  I love tulle.  I love the 20's flapper style with slip dresses.  I love bows and lace.  My new fave dress!!!

I styled it with black and gold accessories, a gold studded belt from Crossroads, over the knee socks with chinese laundry plats.  In the lookbook the stylist paired it with knee socks and combat boots.  I am going to try to style it differently and see how it looks more casual, fancy pants, etc.

BUT YEAH!!! So stoked I got it quickly!

ps... I also got my bedazzlement stuff!  Got a rad Power Rangers shirt to cut up and sparkle!!!!

I have always loved Target. I live in a small town with only a few stores, one of them being Target. It's refreshing to see some "alt" fashion coming into town nowadays. Maybe people will pick it up and I will no longer be the outcast of my class :D

But then, I'll have to find a new style to express myself with!

Oh well. Anyways, whenever this gets back into stock in stores and online, check it out. Throw some lace and animal print into your wardrobe ;)

Midnight Miso is something that I happen to love lately...  on these super wet gross nights it's so comforting to enjoy a little soup... and you don't feel guilty having it at midnight because it is so low in calories... maybe high in sodium, but drink some more water, you'll be fine!  I really like the kikkoman instant packages...  give it a few minutes and you enjoy the tofu, seaweed and green onions! delish!!!

SO... I am kinda peeing my pants with the excitement of Rodarte's collection for Target coming up Dec. 20!!!!  I was destroyed about not getting anything from the A. McQueen collection BUT Rodarte is more my flavor... their designs are fun, interesting, girly punk goth!  Kirtsten Dunst is a major fan of theirs.  I am not supposed to really buy anything before Christmas, but the Hubz is going to have to indulge me on this one.  I have been a VERY good girl this year... at least I think so!!!  Everything in the collection is under $80... which is a huge sidestep from their normal $1200 dress on ebay!!!!  The only issue will be... WHAT TO CHOOSE?!?!

I am loving the sequin ribcage dress.. but the shirt alone is super cute!

I think I am super lusting for this leopard dress though...

There are going to be tutu skirts and lace cardigans!!!! i bet some cute accesories like the lacey tights are going to go fast!!!  STOKED!!! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!

 

 

Marc Jacobs and his bf...  If I was a gay man I would totally be in love with Marc Jacobs!

He is one of my FAVE designers.  He is inexplicably talented.  The guy can pull off wearing a skirt and carry a Birkin bag and look totally seksi and norm!!!  I could never be with a guy that dresses better than me.  Admire from a distance!  And buy his stuff!!! :-)

Okay, so, I would like to make a correction of the post that is the correction of my poll.

The Anna Sui collection will move forward as planned. It launches September 13th as planned, and will be available nationwide and online on Target.com.

Gossip Girl will most definitely be featured in the advertising, and again, the collection is still going on as planned.

Last week I was invited to some babes house for a party. So I went but before-hand I couldnt find anything to wear! Ughh, that sucks. So I found a pair of my sisters pants that she never wears and they arent very flattering on my bumm. So I got scissors and sand paper and I just went at it. I mean, if I messed up it wouldnt matter because they were ugly to begin with. So I ripped them up to shreds and they are wicked hot now. I stitched up some places in the back to it fit perfectly now and the front of the pants were amazing. Wanna see them? Look below. They're awesome!

On Friday I went to Target and I bought two new makeup brushes. I was in desperate need, all of mine are shitty because I use them everyday. So I thought it was time to get some new ones :] I got one of those stippling face brushes and a smudger brush for eyeliner and stuff. Great prices guys! I say you head over there and get some. Do any of you shop at target for anything special? Tell me :]

 

Friday I wanted to dye my hair. But I had my best friends Cristina going away party, shes moving to Florida :[. I'm devastated. But my mom told me do to it after the weekend because I was going swimming at Cristinas house when her party started, then Sunday I was going to the beach for a family party. Both days were perfect considering all summer it's been shitty, but they were very hot days so it was amazing. After Cristinas party I slept over and we were both crying because she was moving. I started the crying and she followed. It was a sad evening. After the beach on Sunday Cristina slept over and we did some pranks on people ;] Haha, It was hilarious. Do you guys know any good pranks to pull on people? I'd love to know some more!

Tonight was my good friend Michaels birthday, he's 24 now, which is insane!

He went out and hit up some bars, and I went out for a quick hello, now I'm home and about to watch some serious scifi!

(just the black ones with a pretty floral dress that I saw Hannabeth wore) Then I have to write an article about it, hoping to take some pictures, but my camera doesnt have an external flash. So I'd prefer to just con someone else into getting some pictures...

 

Anyway, I have work tomorrow, which is nice because I like work and because I like money even more. I need to get some dior powder and some spring clothes, which is not an easy thing to tackle when you work in a movie theater!
