So last night (7/6/09) was the All Time Low, Set Your Goals and Stealing O'Neal concert!! I had so much fun, they are so good live! Heaps of awesome stuff happened so I just feel like I have to write about it. I'll probably think of more things and add to this journal later on, but for now... I hope you enjoy my recount!
The first thing Tiarn, Kahla and I did when we got through the doors was go to the merch stand! I got an awesome red ATL shirt.
Since the venue was pretty small... okay, REALLY small, we ran straight to the right side of the mosh pit and got up to the front ready for Stealing O'Neal to start (at this time a local band Enolas Secret were playing). After quite a few technical difficulties, Stealing O'Neal started. They played my favourite song "Chin Up Baby" first. After Stealing O'Neal had finished their set, Set Your Goals played. I'm not really into them so it was interesting to see the fans! A lot of people were crowd surfing and I'm pretty sure there was a fight pit or whatever they are called. Kinda freaky band, but I still jumped and screamed, of course! When they were performing, Alex Gaskarth came out and sung with them, and then sat on the side of the stage for the rest of their set! That was SO AWESOME, since I love him (who doesn't)!!!!
When ATL came on stage, everyone went CRAZY!! I don't remember what songs they played off the top of my head, but I stole Zack's setlist so I'll post a photo of that. It was so amazing, I managed to hold onto Alex's hand (BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE) and I got Zack to pose for a photo for me... I was soooo close to the front that I was touching the stage! I also managed to score Alex's guitar pick, so I guess I'm pretty lucky!
Towards the end of the show people started to crowd surf again and one of the guys from Stealing O'Neal ran on stage COMPLETELY NAKED! It was funny and gross at the same time, but definitely RANDOM! Then Jack pushed him into the crowd.
After the show the three of us searched the venue for any band members. We managed to see Alex Gaskarth on the side of the stage but then he left. I think security made him go. :(
THEN at the merch stand we met three of the guys from Stealing O'Neal! I got them to sign my CD and had pictures with all of them (which will not be posted due to my terribly gross "mosh pit hair"). I got a whole lot of stickers from all the bands, too!
Well, that's the end of my extremely ridiculous fangirl blog. I'll be posting a TON of pictures from the show (I ended up with over 600, lol) so check them out!!
NOTE: My photos aren't very good quality since Kahla's camera died so I had to use my phone (which was set to take 6 photos at once LOL).
2ND NOTE: I didn't get any good pictures of Jack because everytime he came near me I freaked out!! I did get a good video of him though.
