Camberwell film studio hire has opened its doors and is now ready for business. We are an Independent Film Studio & have 2 brand new film production studios for hire. We are based in central London UK.

+ Studio 1 - our large studio is 1300 sq ft (17m x 7m) with drive in access, white-cyc, lighting grid and 300A power. Ideal for big film production studios with low budgets!

+ Studio 2 - a 400 sq ft (7.6m x 4.5m) chroma key green screen studio hire with an infinity curve, soundproof, pre-lit, walk in and start.

Both film studios have their own greenroom, wardrobe/changing room and production office. We also have a kitchen with a café area that can cope with 20 plus people. Catering is available on request. The production studio complex has parking for up to 6 cars and local streets are free.

In addition the film studios London are comfortably fitted out to allow your crew the relaxed working environment to carry out their work. Facilities include hospitality rooms, wardrobe and changing rooms, shower, an internet cafe style common area and plenty of parking.

STUDIO 2 - CHROMA KEY GREEN SCREEN & SOUNDPROOF 400 sq ft Green Screen Film & Video Studio Designed For Digital Video Productions.

This fantastic little chroma key green screen studio hire / blue screen film & video studio comes pre-lit and ready for action. Other facilities available include green room, changing room, wifi, cafe, parking up to 6 cars and space for 20 plus people. WHAT'S ALL THIS GREENSCREEN PRODUCTION STUDIO ALL ABOUT? Studio 2 has been developed especially for use with Chroma Key Green Screen / Blue Screen and is completely soundproof. Chroma key or green screen studio hire
as it is commonly known is a technique that has been developed for compositing two images or pieces of footage together. this is achieved by shooting the subject against a green background which is then removed or made transparent in post production and then reveals the other image that has been placed behind it.

WHAT'S ALL THIS INFINITY CYC ABOUT? Just in case you needed to know, an Infinity CYC (Cyclorama) curves smoothly at the bottom to meet the film studio floor. This is created so that with the correct lighting an illusion that thefilm studio floor stretches on to infinity can be achieved. Cycloramas or "cycs" are also used for photography backdrops which are white to create no background, or blue screen to create a masking backdrop for post production compositing.
