The dangers of standing too close to a geyser
Some English schoolboys were standing a little bit too close to the geyser Strokkur when it erupted and had to run out of the steam and hot water.
I was fooling around with max ISO on my new 20D. This is at 3200 ISO and F/22 at 1/160 sec on 17-40 F4L.
I like the grain and tried to give the photo a fitting sepia tone. First time playing with that function in PS as well.
The theme this week seems to be danger :)

Nice shot, I am sure the larger image is much more interesting with the detail.

Thank you all. BTW docktornick, how are the plans for your visit up here developing? the thread over at dpc seems to be dead. I've tried to keep the first 2 weeks of july free, but I'm under pressure now.
