Brendon walked up to Beckett with a skeptical look on his face.
Beckett didn't look up, he was doing a crossword puzzle while drinking tea, "Have you checked on Ashley yet?"
Brendon rolled his eyes, "No sir, not yet.", he sighed.
Beckett looked up, and stood up to face him, "What do you want?".
"Can I go out for a walk? To...well...You know. Think?" Brendon looked at the floor.
Beckett shook his head, "No not yet. Not until you know Ash is going to be ok. I don't want anyone else in that room without me or you...do you understand?"
Brendon looked confused and walked away. He knew something wasn't right.

BRENDONS POV
Why did Beckett act like he had so much concern for her. When I had first started liking Ash. He had helped me get her. When I had attacked her, Beckett defended her.
Now...He actually cares. Damn. He likes her.
I walked into the room where Ash was. She was laying on the bed. Tears falling from her face. She was crying.
I walked over to her, layed down next to her and cupped her face in my hands.

"Hey....shh.", I hugged her, "What's wrong?". I tried to comfort her as best as I could.
"Brendon..", She looked up and got up from the bed.
I sat up and looked at her.
She starting talking, and I listened intently to every word she said.
"I don't understand why you have me here. What use am I to you." Her eyes started watering again.
"All I wanna do is go home Brendon. Don't you ever wish your life was different? I bet you do. You wish you could've known your family better....live with your family. I understand what it feels like. Please....just let me go."
I sighed, I know what she means. I like her too much to let her go.
"Ashley, please.", I grabbed her hands.
She jumped a little. My hands were freezing.
I looked at her...she was beautiful,"I like you too much. I want you to be part of my family. You could be...the family...the family I never had."
She looked shocked, and as if she was going to agree with me. But no.
She shook her head,"No, Brendon.", She looked down, she knew it hurt.
I let go of her hands. I was crushed. I just asked her to be a part of my life and she said no. No. Those words,that sentence replayed in my head...
I had just felt like a steak had been pludged through my heart. Well, now I wanted one to.
I was serious this time. Telling her off sternly, "Your not leaving, I don't care what you do here. Your just not leaving", I grabbed the cell phone out of her pocket and walked out of the room passing Beckett in the hallway.
End of Brendon's POV

Ashley's POV

"What the hell!!", I screamed as I hit the bed.
Someone knocked on the door.
"Go away", I said, throwing a pillow over my face.
Beckett grinned and whispered to himself, "This is my chance.", he walked through the door and sat on the bed next to me.
I stared at him, "What do you want?"
Beckett's lips brushed over my ear, “I’m not going to hurt you.” His lips brushed my cheek and down to my lips. Next thing I knew we were kissing eachother.
