December 12, 2009Next Photos Probably are coming From...the 2010 Take Action! Tour featuring A Rocket To The Moon, There For Tomorrow, We The Kings, Mayday Parade, and Stereo Skyline. I saw We The Kings on tour during GK and they were really good live, they're just not my favorite band. I hope I can squeeze in a couple more concerts and hopefully I can get a photo pass so I don't have to do it in front of a mosh pit again.

November 8, 2009Call it Love- Ch.12Sorry i havent updated Dare For Distance in a while. nothing has come to me. but after this chapter i think there is gonna be like maybe 5 or 6 more for call it love so im excited then maybe some stuff will come to me for dare for distance. i Hope you like this chapter buzzz!
"tell me that you love me and it'll be alright, are you thinking of me? Come with me tonight. You know I need you just like you need me" those words rang in my head as I watched john sing those words out to the crowd.
Those words he dedicated to me at a show this past tour. It was the last night and everyone was already saying good bye's by 4 this afternoon. I was happy to see it end. Tour life is not for me and Ive figured out that if you tour with your loved one it gets you hurt. You set yourself up basically even for people who have the strongest relationship. It happens to everyone. But I was sad to leave in a sense because Im gonna miss everyone terribly. I was watching pats facial expressions as he drummed and I was getting very amused by that when someone stood next to me all of a sudden and whispered in my ear the words "hello" I jumped nearly 50 feet but when I turned to see who it was my heart beat went down and I became more relaxed. I put my hand over my heart and tried to control my breathing. "Brian! don't do that! I hate it when people sneek up on me" I said smacking his arm a little and pushing him playfully. The Blond hair boy grinned wide and when the light shinned on him his nose piercing twinkled which made me blush a little bit. "if I recall you're the one who snuck up on me last" he said remembering yesterday when I was running away from horrific scene and running into well Brian. See Brian is one of the guitar players for Stereo Skyline and we're in new york right now and they are our special guest playing specifically for this last show. "hey I didn't sneek up on you, I ran into you....big difference" I said making it all dramatic. He just rolled is eyes and laughed. "so where rob and Kevin?" I asked looking in back of me and behind the current beside me just to make sure they wouldn't pop out. "oh they are getting the maines present ready for them." Brian said smiling huge. "present...?" I acted confused. "the last day of touring everyone plays pranks on each other. You wont get it since your off tonight but you know allison will" he said pointing over to allison who had a fake ass smile plastered on her face while she was gazing at john. Ugh she made me want to punch her. I shrugged it off and rolled my eyes. "whoa why so hostile?" he asked a little taken back by my eye roll and I guess my face looked annoyed just by the say of her name. "oh um its just allison was the girl my boyfriend cheated on me with" I explained to him like it was no big deal. But It wasn't just any boy it was john. "oh who was your boyfriend?" he asked curiously. "is" I corrected him then explained further "we havent talked yet so we havent officially broken up" he made an O with his mouth and nodded. I nodded and looked on stage. I saw Kevin, Rob, and Jack come out as male strippers and started grinding on kenny, John and Jared. Then they all moved over to garret then tried to gang up on pat but pat threw his drum sticks at them so they gave up then left the stage. Everyone was in histarics, I myself couldn't stop laughing and neither could brian. The maines set finished and they exited towards stage left while I was on stage right which im thankfull for. Stereo Skyline was next, Rob was already out there and Brian was about to go on. I grabbed his arm and said "oh and my boyfriend is John Oh" I explained and his eyes went wide as he walked out on stage stunned. After the song heart beat I walked to the lounge where everyone was sitting around just strumming guitars or getting stuff fixed. I sat next to jack and smiled at him. "whats going on jack-a-roo?" I asked him cheerfully. He gave me a look then looked back down on his iphone. I pushed his shoulder. "jackkkkk!" I cooed the he sighed. "why does brian get to know about john but im the one who has to hear about it from other people and not from you? I thought you loved me" he said in a kiddy voice then pouted at me. I giggled and pulled him into a hug. "im sorry jacky I promise ill tell you my whole life story next time. And when im at home and we're apart ill call you every day so you wont have shay withdrawl" I promised him and instantly his face lit up. "really?" he asked as he jumped up and down on the couch while everyone stared at him including john but john didn't stare he glared but I think that was more towards me. Whats up his but? He's not the one that got cheated on. He should be happy he got action either that or trying hard to get me back. I nodded at jack to confirm it and he squeled picking me up and throwing me over the shoulder. "okay jacky you can put me down now" I said slapping his back. "um I don't think I will" he said then he started to walk forward and the next thing I knew I heard screaming fans and I saw robs face turn into a huge smile. I shrugged and pointed to jack and he just shook his head. Jack took brians microphone and interrupted Kevin in the middle of up town get around. "HYE HEY HEY people we have Shay right here. She's Glamour Kills merch bitch/ the mains merch bitch/ the girl John Oh Cheated on with that bitch right there" he said pointing to Allison. My mouth fell open as he set me down on my feet. The crowd gasped and some of them booed "isn't that horrible? If you see john oh after the concert tell him to grow a pair and actually talk to this stunning young lady and beg for her forgiveness cause other than what he did to her he's an awesome dude and they belong together. Could you do that?" he asked and then the crowd cheered. My cheeks became hot and Kevin laughed and hugged me as well did brian and rob just winked at me. I glanced over at the side stage and there was john in aw. Figures. "okay now HAVE SEX DURING STEREO SKYLINES SET!" jack screamed in the microphone as once again jack swung me over his shoulder and walked out. I bet everyone could see my ass cause I was wearing a skirt! I was screaming and hitting his ass as hard as I could and yelling at him to put me down. Finally he plopped me down between kennedy and where john was suppose to be. I tried to get up but kenny and jack just pushed me down. "oh no your staying here. We'll tape you here if we have to" kenny said a little to seriously so I just slumped back in my seat. A little less than 2 mins later john came back in the room with confussion washed over his face. "now johnny we are having an intervention" kenny said. Jack squeeled "can I be dr. phil?" he pleaded. "uh sure" kenny said then looked right back at john and pushed john down next to me. "talk to her. Tell her what happen. We'll be in the other room and member....we know if you don't talk"kenny said as he pulled jack up and pushed him out of the room. I looked down at my shoes as john looked at me. "shay-"he started then stoped for a little then started up again "shay I didn't do it to hurt you, hell I didn't even do anything. If you can recall she was ontop of me. Allison was trying to tell me how much she misses me I just went in the van to get my phone that I left there when she came up to me, pushed me down and got ontop of me. And I swear shay she kissed me I was about to push her off when you saw. I swear to god shay I didn't do anything I didn't mean to hurt you baby im so sorry you know how much you mean to me and im not that kind of guy" he stopped as he noticed he was choking up. He looked like he ment every word and once I looked in his eyes I knew he was telling the truth. I nodded "I know john, I knew there was something off about allison"I shrugged He smiled and went to hug me but I pulled back "but I swear to fucking god john if you touch, hug, kiss any other girl inappropriately ever again that's IT! I don't stand for cheaters they are at the bottom for me so don't be like that please. I love you to much to see that happen to us. Oh and another thing, im not going on tour with you guys ever again. Ill visit every so often though" I said smiling a little. He smiled back. "im glad babe" he said as he pulled me in and kissed me with all the compassion he had. He leaned back in the couch and pulled me back with him. Then he pulled away and looked me into his eyes "arnt you glad hell is over?" I thought for a minute "it watesn't hell just she was" I stated simply. He chuckled and held me tight against him.

July 2, 2009Dear Hey Monday, Let's Make A MessJune 30, 2009 had finally arrived. I have been looking foward to this date for months. Literally. Everyday, I would listen to The Bigger Light's Fiction Fever, Stereo Skyline's EP, The Friday Night Boy's Off The Deep End, This Providence's Who Are You Know, and Hey Monday's Hold On Tight. By now, I basically have all the lyrics memorized. (PS: you should go listen to them and buy it!) That afternoon, Bethany and Page came over to bake brownies for This Providence. We finished around 430 so my mom drove us down to venue for This Providence's Acoustic Show. While waiting for Dan and Gavin to warm up, we talked to Andrew from The Friday Night Boys. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Plus he loves giving hugs. So if you ever see TFNB and your having a shitty day, go see Andrew. After about 10 minutes, Dan and Gavin were ready to play. They played Letdown, Sand In Your Shoes, and My Beautiful Rescue. (I'll have the videos up sometime this week. More like this month... They take FOREVER to upload.) I felt obnixiously loud because no one else was singing. Oh well. During My Beautiful Rescue, this lady across the street opened up her door and had the most confused look on her face. Oh my god, it was priceless. I wish i would've gotten a picture. So after they were done playing, they talked to their fans and what not. I gave them each a braclet, and they signed my shoe. When I gave Dan the brownies, he was like "Aww, thank you! Brownies are my favorite!" David walked over and his face was literally like a kid on Christmas morning. He gave us all hugs saying that we're amazing. Haaha. We were at the beginning of the line, so we got in pretty fast. Most of the people there were getting merch so we got front row between the middle and left side of the stage. I didn't want to wait for 30 minutes, so I went back to the merch while Bethany and Page stayed. I got to meet Rob from Stereo Skyline (he's adorable!) and J.K. from The Bigger Lights (hilarious guy). I bought a Who Are You Know (This Providence) shirt and Hold On Tight shorts (Hey Monday). I went back to my spot, and the Bigger Lights were getting ready. This was my first time seeing The Bigger Lights and they were alright. They weren't like omgicouldgotothereshoweveryday but it wasn't like ewtheysuckleavethevenue. Topher's voice would sometimes crack, but I didn't really bother me. He's really skinny too... Probably ways less than me. Haaha.They played Goldmine Valentine, Closer, Apocalypse, and a new song. Since they're not as known, I was one of the few singing. Next up was Stereo Skyline. First off, there were these crazy fan girls that wouldn't shut up. "OMG HES SOOO HOT!!!" "YEAH, TOTTALY. WHAT'S HIS NAME?!" "IDK HES JUST HOT" I seriously wanted to punch them in the face and tell them to shut up. This was also my first time seeing Stereo Skyline. They were kinda suckish.. Kevin's voice would always crack, which was hilarious. Stereo Skyline played Shake and Shout, Uptown, Get Around, Heartbeat, and Five-Tens In Harlem (i think..) The Friday Night Boys. Okay, something that really bothered me. Mike (guitar, vocals) was drinking beer on stage. You can drink at the bar, but not on stage. Chris (drummer) wasn't wearing a shirt, and I just have to say that he has a really nice sick pack. Haahah. Andrew's vocals were really good. His voice didn't crack every 10 seconds and he didn't seem typsy like some people. cough* Mike.. *cough* They played Highschool, Pernament Heartbreak, Stuttering, Suicide Sunday, and That's What She Said. To be honest, I was mainly there for This Providence and Hey Monday (kinda). I listened to TBL, SS, and FNB so I could sing along instead of just standing there akwardly. Don't get me wrong, I like them. They're really nice and the music is sweet. I don't know how to explain it. You have all the bands you like and there's that special like top 5 bands that just mean the world to you. I LOVE this band. Maybe it's because I've seen them play before. I don't know. There set was amazing. Dan's vocals was just beautiful. I want his accent.. Andy did great on the drums. Oh did I mention that he was shirtless as well. He's soo skinny. I'll make extra brownies next time they come. Hehe. Gavin was beastly on the guitar. Dblaise rocked out on the bass. He seemed kinda out of it though. He had the same facial expression the whole time and didn't smile as much. Whatever.. Anyway, they played A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing, Keeping on Witihout You, Letdown, My Beautiful Rescue, Playing The Villian, That Girl's A Trick, and Squeaking Wheels and White Light. Last but not least, Hey Monday. This was my first time seeing them as well and let me tell you. They totally stole the show. Everyone was going crazy. Some guys thought it would be cool if they started a mosh circle pit whatever there called, and one guy slammed right into me. I didn't get a bruise, but i'm a little sore. Cassadee's voice is amazing. It's beautiful. Jersey makes the funniest faces when he plays. Alex seemed out of it, but did great. Elliot and Mike were really good. At one point, they threw out those red party cups and told us to throw it around at people. Hahah. I don't know. It was fun.They played 6 Months (acoustic), Arizona, Candle (half acoustic, half regular), Homecoming, Josey, Obvious, Run Don't Walk, Set Off, and Should've Tried Harder. Overall, the show was soo much fun. If they play in your area, go and see them. They are all really nice people. My voice won't stop cracking. At least the ringing in my ears is slowly going away.. Something about this concert just seemed really chill. Maybe it's because I was on the left side. (I'm usually on the right side) When I'm the right side, I end up with tons of bruises, covered with everyone else's sweat and no room to move. But on the left side, I rarley sweated, didn't get any bruises, and I had plenty of room to move. Yay! Is it always like that at other concerts? Or was it just that venue?

hey monday concert last night.....PICS AT THE END
okay so last ngiht i went to go see hey monday, this providence, the friday night boys, stereo skyline, and the bigger light. it was an all aroudn amazing show!!! okay so my dad came home from work at like five =/ and oors opened for the show at six and he still had to eat and get ready and do stuff for work so i was kinda pissed off cause we didnt leave till like 6:20 or something=/. so yeha weo got to allentown, where the concert was, and we couldnt find the crockadile rock cafe. im telling you you would never know there was a concert hall at this place if you just saw it from the outside cause all you see is this pizza place/bar with a bunch of chairs and suff around it for people to sit out side. so me and my dad were really confused, caue we'd never been there before. but some girl showed told us just to go into the pizza place and then there these stairs that go to the cafe under which is this really nice lounge. there we picked up the tickects and liek the next room more or less is the concert hall. its pretty tiny. the stage is only liek 12 feet or something.and the standing room area was small too only like twelve feet wide caus eof the bar and liek maybe thirty feet back. so yeha basically we cmae late and just kinda chilled at the back of the crowd for the last song and a half of the stereo skyline set(we missed the bigger lights =/) so after stereo skyline finnished their set a buncha people left and my dad and i moved up and got stuck between this fricken fat tall guy so i couldn't see anything for the friday night boys set. i ended up resorting to standing on the bottom bar of the barrier, but sercurity yelled ta me. ahh well. toward the end of the friday ngiht boys set the big buy in front of my started jumping liek a maniac and almost jumped on my twice. i was like o.O. it was kinda scary. this really nice girl diagonally back from the mad room for me in front of her though and pulle dme over so i didn't get crushed by the big dude.lol. i had an alright view fro the rest of the friday night boys set. they were pretty good. so after the friday night boys came this providence. i managed to move up far enough to get pictures on my cell(i forgot my camera at home=////) this providnece was AMAZING. and during the last song from their set dan fricken jumped into the crowd i was like AHHHHHH! and everyone liek ran toward him, but security pulled him back real quick. it was funny. so then after this providence playe dit was hey mondya. more people left after this providence so i got up to be liek five people from the front. the hey monday sound check guys took FOREVER. people kinda got mad and started chanting hey monday. and they finaly came out. Jersey's family and friends were at the showso when hey mondya came on they formed a huge line and shoved their way to the front. i almost got knocked over a few times. and after they shoved their way up everyone just like rushed the stage. it was crazy, i probably would have gtten squished to detah if it wasnt for my dad.lol. hey mondya played really well. they're amazing. at one point during their set mike got the idea of making us do the wve. so he was liek hey if you guys go the wave ill dump this water on you so we pretty much agreed cause it was liek 100 degrees in there. so yeha i got sprayed right in the face with water. it felt sooo goood.lol. and then cassadee passed out those red plastic cups to random people in the crowd(i caught one!) and told us to throw them around so we did. it looked pretty funny. oh and if anyone knows the name of that one song Cassadee plays that i guess unreleased(the accoustic one...not candles) please tell me cause i missed the name! so yeha hey mondya was amazing, and then during the last refrain during how you love me now(their last song) cassadee told us to put all of our cameras and phones away and get really wild...which we did.everyone was jumping, screaming, singing, and shiving each othre. and then jersey's fam/friends started a mosh pit right next to me which i kinda got cought in adn then my dad pulle dme out cause i was liek a dwarf compared to the rest of these people in the mosh pit.lol. it was great and then everyone in the badn who had a guitar pick thre it at the end and one landed right by me and i grabbed it and this girl tried to rip it out of my had so we were like fighting over it. and hen she yanked it out of my hand i was liek ugh bitch. but whatever.lol. so then we heaxed to the merch booths and got some shirts and cds and chilled with this providence fro a little bit. i didn't really stick aroudn to see if hey modnay was gona come and hang out because i had to pee real bad.lol. so yep thtas it. that ended up being reeeallllyyyy longggg.ahh well. oh adn here are some pictures. they turnedoout real crappy cause i used my cell =( sorry.
