Any doubters who suspected that the reunited romance of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler was a stunt designed to entice photographers to take the couple's picture while attending L.A. parties, such for Complex Magazine, should think again.

Actually, the Barkers have recommitted to one another as a means to taunt Paris Hilton, who attended the same anniversary party for Complex.

Those of us who enjoying minding other people's business will recall that Paris played a central part in Travis's boistrous public displays of affection while he was estranged from Shanna.  Much-publicized groping between Travis and Paris resulted in charges and counter-charges of violence between Shanna and Paris.

Unfortunately for Complex magazine, hostilities seem to have been kept beneath the photographic threshold at their anniversary party.

Oh, your fav on-again-off-again couple are, well, on again. People reports that Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler HAVE indeed reunited.


Travis threw her a birthday party in Miami this past weekend, and they were seen being all ooey-gooey kissy-face on the beach.

Shanna also dispelled rumors that she's pregnant. Which is a rumor I hadn't heard anyway.

Her royal blondeness said: "While I hope one day to have more children with Travis, I am not pregnant, but yes, I'm madly in love with my husband."

You know... I really liked Meet The Barkers, and I think they're cute together, but I am the ONLY one that think maybe Shanna ain't quite mama-material? I mean, there was one toddler on the show who I SWORE was the NANNY'S KID. There was no mother-child chemistry whatsoever. So, in conclusion, I'm happy they're back together, and happy the babymaking is on hold.

Perhaps envious of all the Internet recognition and love flowing toward Missy Rothstein and Bam Margera, the formerly split MTV couple made up by Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler are passing up no public opportunity to slip and slide all over one another for the benefit of any nearby photographers.

This may be taking Valentine's day further than greeting-card marketeers intended it to go.

It's tempting to yell, "GET A ROOM, Travis and Shanna."

The problem is -- if past behavior is any indication -- the Barkers will have cameras in that room too.

Anybody holding their breath in hopes that Playboy alumnus Shanna Moakler and human canvas Travis Barker would renew their marital bonds should exhale now.

If the New York Post's "Page Six" is to be believed, Shanna has announced that she is "dating" her Dancing With the Stars partner, Jesse DeSoto.

No word has yet been received on plans by Dancing With the Stars to add a "horizontal mambo" category to the competition.

Divorce is an ugly thing, except when a Playboy-class beauty like Shanna Moakler is involved.  Despite engaging in unsightly public squabbling with her former sperm donor, Travis Barker, the buxom blonde manages to maintain both her dignity and her crass carnal appeal while attending a tasteful Las Vegas gathering commemorating cancellation of MTV's Meet the Barkers.

Below and to the right, Shanna appears to be auditioning for the stacked-blonde role in an ESPN/VH1 joint production called Meet the Barkleys.  Moakler and basketball's Sir Charles look like they are one spark of mutul chemistry away from their relationship igniting at a temperature that is well beyond just friends.

If the former Mrs. Barker mouths Charles like she does that cake, she'll be one tongue-length closer to life as the future Mrs. Barkley.
