I'm so impressed with how clean everything is.........It looks really charming : )
We were disappointed with Stratford, because this town, which is part of our heritage, looked so scruffy, and isn't made the most of. In the same street, there are shops opposite that just don't fit in with having Shakespeares birthplace opposite. We couldn't get there earlier, because we were at Warwick Castle, but I would really have liked to see inside the house. But the house is beautiful.

That is a shame - you would think that the local Council would want to preserve the surrounding area in an appropriate way . I can't say I remember what the area looked like when I went - but it was so long ago. We also went to see a play in the theatre and I do remember how pretty it was there right by the river.
it looks pretty well maintained.. I would also wanna go inside too ! They should do whatever it takes to revive this house and keep it a from deteriorating .
