I'd like to introduce you to the song that made me fall head over heels in love with The Academy Is...

Buzznet friends meet Seed, Seed meet Buzznet friends

Well in a way, if I had to pinpoint the exact moment TAI become one of my all time favorite bands it would be the very first time that I heard this song. I had always liked TAI and Almost Here was one of my favorite CD's. I got that CD, looked into the band some, learned about them, and then put them as a band on a shelf in my mind along with the other bands I liked at the time and thought had potential. They were an awesome band but at that moment in my life they weren't my favorite. But then I heard Seed and I almost died. From the very first time I heard William sing the first verse I was hooked. I remember that day clearly, I was cleaning and looking for some music to listen to and I was browsing bands myspaces. I stumbled upon TAI's and seed come on. I listed to it and literally for the rest of the day and for most of the following week it was the only song that played from my speakers. I pressed the repeat button again and again and again... Ever since the lyrics filled my mind and the chords reached my ears, TAI has been my all time favorite band and has stayed in that top spot ever since. Although it was a combination of how wonderful all the guys in this band are, how real they are, how they interact with fans, their amazing music, and really everything about them, hearing Seed was the straw that broke the camels back, the drop of water that crushed the flood gates, the reason I took the plunge and fell head over heels in love with The Academy Is...

Don't get me wrong, I absolutly ADORE Almost Here and all the songs on that CD (some of my favorite lyrics ever are on that CD and it's one of the best CD's out there in my opinion) but I completely am in love with Seed.

There are so many reasons why I love this song, too many to say here and some too personal. Basically, I think that this song is wicked amazing. Right now, it means a lot to me. Williams voice is completely gorgeous. Seriously, I can't believe how great he sounds in this song (ok maybe I can =D). The drums are so clean, the strings are superb, especially the bass, and the lyrics are absolutly wonderful. I can connect to this song and relate to the lyrics in so many ways. I also love the little laugh that William does in the middle of the song.
