QUESTION Do you think that I should keep notifying people who made the list OR should I just leave it and let people fined it and be surprised?

Before I begin I need to clarify as few things, I don’t and never have worked for Buzznet, these are all random things I’ve found out how to do, most of these might be useless and hopefully some are useful to help you to navigate around Buzznet easier.

You don’t have to read the whole journal; I’ve spilt it into sections so you can read the bits that you might find helpful (because this is going to be a long arse journal)

Important People to Know on Buzznet

PanasonicYouth (Mark) the reason is his page is like the hub of Buzznet & is the best place to find out what is going on in the community. He can also help you if you have problems with other Buzznet users, problems with your page and any other Buzznet problems, but I don’t think he can help to bring your hamster back to life so he does have some limitations.

BreeSay (Bree) is the best place to check out links to other Buzznet users. I’ve discovered some really amazing people just by checking out the links. She is also a real sweet heart and a great source for pop culture.

ElRich (Richard) also posts links to other Buzznet uses & again a great place to find other Buzznet members amazing talent. He also post journals about the community, so lots of fun stuff to discover.

How to add yourself as a friend

Before I tell you how I need to tell you why. I added myself a long time ago as a joke, after I added myself I found that I was able to view my post in my Friend Feed. It gave me clue of what it look liked to others; I also found out once that some photo posted to private galleries still show up in the friend feed (but not all).

How to do it; go to your profile page (the one that people can view). Where your page address is at the top of the page type this; private/ at the end. For example; http://PUT YOUR USER NAME HERE.buzznet.com/user/private/ (make sure it doesn’t have main in the address as this will stop it from working). Next click on Request YOUR USER NAME to add you. Shortly after that you will receive a message from BuzzBot telling you that you want to add yourself. (You think I’m a loser now don’t ya?)

Feature Photos

One of the most controversial topics on Buzznet. If you want to how to suggest one go here it tells you how.

If you want to find out who suggested your photo go here; click me. I love to visit that page just to look at all the stunning images other Buzznet users create.

Have you ever wondered if a photo you’ve suggested has been featured? The way you find out this is; put this address into your browser http://www.buzznet.com/featured/by/PUT YOUR USER NAME HERE/, this will list EVERY photo you that has been suggested by you and got featured . If you suggested a photo, but you see someone else’s name against it as the suggester don’t get upset as it’s about their photo not you.

Tip to get the ones you suggested featured; DON’T click the suggest button on EVERY photo you see instead just do it for the ones you reaaaaaaly lub.

How to get comments

NEVAR send a bulletin begging for people to comment & check out your posts. All sending a bulletin does is makes people think you are from MySpace, don’t care about other people posts and you will be ridiculed. Dropping people notes about your post is acceptable, but only on people you regular comment on; otherwise it looks like a spam fest.

There is only one simple way to get comments on you content if you aren’t an internet celebrity; comment on other people’s content. Show an interest in them and they will show an interest in you. If people comment on your content & you NEVAR comment back, people will eventually stop commenting on your posts (I try to comment everyone back, but I seem to run out of time). Other thing to remember is; what is your demographic age group? 80% or maybe more are teenagers, so don’t post scary photos or weird journals. If any of you do find something that does scare you or you find disturbing report it to Mark or Richard.

Be nice to people & they are more likely to keep coming back to your page. :)

Adding more than 12 Profile Photos

On Buzznet the max of profile photos used to be 12, but now there is away to get as many as you want. Do the following;
1) Create a private gallery
2) Upload a photo into the private gallery
3) Once the photo is uploaded go to it and under the photo there is an option button; click on it, then select the option Add As Profile Photo.

Bingo you have a new profile photo without having to double post the photo (which confuses people and they don’t know which one to comment on).

Blocked!

How to block someone from your page click me. Note that you can’t block Buzznet staff from your page (but why would you want to?)

OK most of you know how to block someone, but for those haven’t had the pleasure of being block from someone’s page this is what it looks like click me (If you are Buzznet staff this link will not work for you)

Buzzmakers

How to become a Buzzmaker; I don’t have a clue. I know I am one, but the reason why I’m one is completely different to why say for argument sake Jeffree Star is one. The only advise I will give is just be yourself and don’t copy what other Buzzmakers do in hopes that you will become one. If you remember that Buzznet is fun and not about badges you should be OK. :)

Be yourself and post content that you have produced yourself for more information; Buzznet Originals CRITERION and this is My Views on Buzznet Originals.

How to meet people

Join a group that interests you and you are bound to meet people with the same interests as you. Go here to check out all the groups on Buzznet click me. My favourite groups are Question Of The Day and Buzznet Originals.

Tags

They are mainly used to put thing of the same subject matter in the same place and I’m guess you all use; but I bet you didn’t know it takes sometimes about an hour for things to show up on tag pages.

Videos

At the moment there is still a waiting time for videos available for public viewing if you upload videos directly to Buzznet and now for the ways round it;

1) Upload the video to a group then post a link on your page to the video
2) Create a Vimeo then use the embed codes to upload the video to Buzznet.
I didn’t suggest to open a You Tube account, because the quality isn’t that good; unless you have the HD option, but I don’t think you can get that on using embeds alone.

The turtle needed fairy dust so that he could fly.
When he asked the fairy his request it was denied.
She said he did not need it and that he would not like.
Besides it sounded crazy like a fish upon a bike.
But the turtle did not care he was yearning for the sky.
He asked the fairy again and still she did not no why.
A turtle should stay grounded for that is where you should be.
Be happy that your not bounded not as a pet and you are free.

The turtle was sad that his request it was denied.
He sat upon a stump and for hours where he did cry.
The fairy saw how sad he was and felt very bad.
She knew the sky he wanted and felt sorry for the lad.
So she sat beside the turtle and said I'll tell you what.
I don't care if it sounds crazy and I look like a nut.
To the air you shall go cause I'll give you fair dust.
I know that I shouldn't be to not would be unjust.
Go fling with the eagles even though you have no wings.
Cause I know the joy it'll bring you and other happy things.

So the turtle got get grant to fly and he did for many days.
He flew to all kinds of places and flew in many ways.
And by his side the fairy was helping him along
even thought he was a turtle and in the air did not belong.
For the fairy did not care cause the turtle was a friend.
Like this story I have wrote and a friend to now a send.

Lol, this has to do with the experiment  that I was a part of. Someone had said that they thought the experiment was about attention seeking (which it wasn't) but you can take it anyway you want I suppose. After Seb explained what he was trying to teach us, this was said:

Whoa! Our very first photo assignment, Your Independence, was quite successful: 41 photos were submitted over the weekend and they're all quite wonderful. How did other people interpret the theme? There's only one way to find out!
