What once was the Sears Tower is now Willis Tower.
Yes. You read that right. It is no longer named Sears. It's Willis... also affectionately called "Big Willie."
What is the real focus of this photo is the 3 glass boxes on the outside of the building also known as The Ledge. It's the latest attraction to Sears... I mean Big Willie. The Ledge was inspired party from the many forehead prints the maintenance workers would have to clean off the windows everyday and from the scene in the movie Farris Buellers Day Off (If you haven't seen that movie, you have no life) where the threesome step on the ledge of the building and press their foreheads to the glass and look down at the street below.
You can't tell from this photo but the boxes are actually 103 floors above the street. YIKES!
This isn't a great shot but it was the best I could do from a moving car.
