JaneSaysStage # 1
Those who've heard about the Vans Warped Tour would know what a Kevin Says Stage is. :) And for those who haven't, look it up. And this is my version of said stage. :)
For now I think I have a few artists I'd like to share. Some are unsigned. Some are signed. It's anyone and everyone.I just wanna recommend bands to people. It's another way for me to share music. :) My other way was to use it in the videos I make for school :D
1. Disco Curtis

Found them on Smartpunk.com. They're an Emo / Indie / Pop band from Dallas, Texas who formed in August 2008. The band's vocalist and songwriter Tanner Howe began writing some of the songs on their EP in early 2008. Basically, they just wanted to write songs that everyone can relate to. Originally a 3-piece band they soon added 16 year old Brendan Barone to complete their line up.
Their EP "Play With Fire Get Burned" was released just last September 26th. And personally, I find that their sound just completely blows me away! I'm hoping they'll get signed soon. Good luck to them! Look them up.

2. Runner Runner

Runner Runner is a 5-piece band from Huntington Beach, California. They play Pop / Rock / Electro. They formed together in March 2008 and since then have pulled together a mix of powerpop, electronica and pop rock music.
To the best of my knowledge I believe they have released 2 EP's. "Break Up To Make Up" which was released on September 23rd 2008 and "The Summer EP" which was released on July 5th of this year. Both are amazing EP's naturally. They're unsigned and that particularly surprised me.
They played the Vans Warped Tour this year at the LA date I think. And they will be touring this fall with The White Tie Affair, Every Avenue and Stereo Skyline. (All of which I listen to :p). Have a listen to them.

3. Scary Kids Scaring Kids (SKSK)

This post hardcore experimental / indie / rock band from Gilbert, Arizona was formed in 2002 and is still kicking ass! The band is composed of 6 members at the moment and are signed to RCA / Immortal Records.
They have toured with There For Tomorrow and Anberlin already and have played the Vans Warped Tour this year as well. And from what I read from the Vans Warped Tour Pit Reporter Tiffany Mink's blog, lead singer Tyson was MIA for the last 4 days of the tour. They say it was urgent personal stuff. SKSK still went on with the last 4 days tho.
Personally, what I like about this band is the unique way in which they blend keyboards with post hardcore music.
The last album they released was in 2007 and is self-titled. And now they're working on a new record. They haven't got any new show dates yet tho. :o What could this mean? Check them out tho.

That's it for now I guess. But I've news tho. Mayday Parade's new record "Anywhere But Here" has been released! Haven't listened to it yet. Not even streaming. I trust Mayday Parade tho. :) And I'm now totally in love with Paramore's new record <33 ANOTHER IMPORTANT NEWS I HEARD: TRANSFORMERS 3 WILL BE RELEASED ON JULY 1st 2011 ! aaacckk. I'll be in LA by then! WIN!
