Job for a Cowboy: new music video posted online!

Unfurling A Darkened Gospel, the brand new music video from award-winning Glendale, AZ heavy music powerhouse Job For A Cowboy has been posted online and makes its world premiere today on myspace. Check out the action now HERE.

Unfurling A Darkened Gospel is the roll out track from JFAC’s celebrated sophomore album, Ruination, which is available everywhere now. The video was shot on location in downtown Philadelphia, PA and at the city’s distinguished music venue, The First Unitarian Church. The clip was shot by Doug Spangenberg for Space Monkey Studios (Lamb Of God, Maroon 5) and features Job For A Cowboy doing what the band does best; bringing its electrifying live show directly to a crowd of rabid fans. Beginning July 10th at 9pm pacific, the video will also be available on the main page of Yahoo! Music.

Job For A Cowboy will launch the 2009 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival on Jule 10th at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Sacramento, CA.

Ruination’s cover art and full color booklet have also been made available for viewing on metalblade.com HERE. The striking, quasi-conceptual, motif was designed by Brent Elliott White and takes its inspiration from JOB FOR A COWBOY front man Jonny Davy’s album lyrics and concepts. Topics addressed by the album’s schema revolve around modern day worldwide dilemmas and controversial issues including “Propaganda in the main stream media and television, humanitarian rights of Northern Korea, the modern genocidal government of Nubia, the use of torture in American military tactics, overruling by world governments and Police states / Martial law”.

 

JOB FOR A COWBOY’s Ruination is available for pre-order now.  A special JFAC “pre-order contest” has just been announced whereby fans can win tickets to see the band on tour with Slayer this summer as part of the “ROCKSTAR Energy Mayhem Festival”.  Fans will also have the chance to score signed JOB FOR A COWBOY musical equipment, merch and more.  There are two ways to enter: 1.) by providing proof of purchase of the new album from one of your favorite online media stores (i.e. iTunes, Hot Topic), or by mail.
